Chapter One
Anael Aquariel Ataphiel Azrael was sitting down on a bench; waiting. He was not in the living world anymore, no longer was he walking with the “animam viventem” as they called it. Somehow, he understood that this meant “living souls”. While sitting there, he started blacking out and went into a flash back. This has been happening to him for the past 4 days that he was sitting there. He was suddenly whisked back into the year 1982; the year he was born in.
“We shall name you Anael Aquariel Ataphiel Azrael,” said a mother cradling a baby in her arms.
“Yes, that is a beautiful name,” said the father standing by. “But we should keep quiet; our little son might wake up. The doctor said we can go home tomorrow.”
“Yes, you are right,” said the mother.
The mother went into the room that the doctor assigned while the father left.
“I’ll be back tomorrow to take you home,” said the father.
The next day, the father came back to pick them up.
“Look, the baby talked!” exclaimed the mother. “He said his first name! Say it again Anael!”
“Ah-na-il,” said the little boy.
“That’s amazing!” yelled the father. “I have never heard of such an incident before except for … our other son,” said the father in a sad voice.
“Yes, that is true. Do you think that Anael would be like our other son, Auriel?” asked the mother.
“He might turn out to be like him. If this is the case, then we must keep this a secret. When everyone got to know about Auriel, I’d rather not talk about it,” said the father. “Let’s go home now.”
“Mother, I need help, I do not how to do this!” yelled a 5 year old Anael from the basement. He has long blonde hair, which he received from his father’s side of the family and a very smooth and almost pale skin, which he got from his mother.
“I’m coming!” yelled back Anael’s mother. “I’ll keep him busy. You send the invitation cards and start setting things up,” she whispered to Anael’s father.
“Okay, I will do just that,” whispered Anael’s father.
Mother went downstairs to help Anael to find him lying in a pile of messy clothes. She could not keep herself from laughing and rolled on the floor.
“It’s not funny Mother,” said Anael.
“It’s okay, I’ll do it. Go you go outside and play or go to your room. Do whatever you want but do not go into your father’s workroom, even if he is not in there. Do you understand?” asked Mother.
“Yes, mother,” replied an obedient Anael. Anael went outside to play and came home later to find an amazing site met by his blue-green eyes.
“HAPPY 5thBIRTHDAY!” yelled 34 people including his parents.
“T-th-thank you!” exclaimed Anael. “I – I don’t know what to say.”
“You don’t have to say anything Anael,” said Mother. “Now come cut your cake.”
“Okay!” exclaimed Anael.
