I stop and take a deep breath in front of my "house" and just stare at the front door. I just want it all to go away. Mike, this dumb ass house, the drugs, the idiots at school, just everything to vanish and never come back.

Now that I can breath, I slowly make my way to the front door. Just as I'm about to grab the door handle and twist it open, and right as I was about to open the door, It's yanked opened.

I look up to see who had opened the door, just to see an angry looking Mike. Mike just glares at me like I said I'm not going to get his bourbon for him. He grabs the front of my shirt and yanks me inside and slams the door behide him. I try to stand up and walk, but Mike is walking to fast and won't let go of my shirt. Mike drags me into the living room and throws me into the wall really hard. I fall to ground just trying to breath after having all the air knocked out of me.

" I need you to go get me some more bourbon ya little bitch." He says and throws the money on the ground by my head. I nod my head and he walks away. I get up off the floor and grab the money and put it in my pocket. I go to my room and put my book bag on the floor by my bed and grab my fake I.D Mike had made for me.

I check on Zoey and give her more food and water. " When I get back we'll go for a walk, okay?" She barks quietly in response and wages her tail happily. I grab a bigger hoodie to hide the bourbon better and put it on. I run down the steps and zoom out the door and close it.

I put up my hood and get out my iPod and head phones. After about 5 minutes of walking I finally get there. I take off my hood and head phones and walk up to the counter and ask for a thing of bourbon while pulling out the money and my I.D. After them checking my I.D and everything, I put the bourbon in my hoodie so no one can see it. I put my hood back up and start walking back home.

" Look what we have here."

I stop dead in my tracks as soon as I hear that voice. I turn around to see...
