Chapter 19

I got out of school early, all of us did, Cameron, Alex and Nick. We were there, letting her down into the earth to connect with it. Before that, I put a picture of all of us together with her, it made it look special now than it did before. I let out some tears and leaned on Cameron's shoulder and connected my hands will Alex letting the hands go down with Nick, to Will, to James, to Mrs. Gates and Mr. Gates and with Nick, the one she loved. We said our final good byes to her and wished her well. I felt a breeze come through us. Her family left to go pay some respects to there grandparents but I just stood there.

  " Rose, if you hear me, I'll miss you." I said.

  " We all will." Cameron said putting his hand around my shoulder and I was doing the same.

  " You were one pretty cool girl." Nick said.

  " We'll miss you forever and always." Alex said. We just stood there and finally we left, when we got back to my house, I put her picture next to my sister. Alex and Nick knew about my sister because I trusted them. We sat there and I went upstairs to change clothes, they brought there clothes and changed in the guest room. I neatly changed from my black and white ribbon dress to jeans and a long sleeved shirt. We decided to stay here and eat, I made us some chicken to eat. We just ate quietly and I went up in my room for a bit. After a while I took a little nap and dreamed about Rose. We were in a beautiful garden full of flowers and we had fun talking. She looked at me with curious eyes.

  " Why didn't you ever tell me about your condition?" she asked me. I was so surprised, how did she know? Oh, right, she's an angel now, of course she would.

  " It wasn't fatal yet, and besides I'm fine." I said to her.

  " Cho, it will be crucial. I want you to live." she said. I just looked at her and then darkness pulled us apart. I started screaming her name but all she did was wave. I was woken up and I was sweating and panting, there was Alex shaking me and Cameron holding my hand. Nick took me and started rocking me.

  " It's okay Cho, it was just a dream. You're alright." Nick said in my ears, I suddenly had more tears coming and buried my head in his chest. He put his hand on my back and started soothing me. After a while of that I got up and went to go freshen up again. Katie came in with a bar of soap, I looked at her and suddenly had a smile on my face.

  " Katie do you want a bath?" Katie nodded slowly and I smiled. I filled her tub with water outside, Nick, Cameron and Alex came out to help me. I took down my ponytail and let it down swiftly. Cameron had the water running in the tub and Nick was helping me get soap. Alex went around chasing Katie to put her in the tub. Cameron was in front of me and Nick was behind me.

  " Cho is this enough water?" Cameron asked. As I was turning the sponge slipped off of my hand hitting Cameron straight in the face. He wiped his face off with his hand and looked at me and the hose, Nick was laughing and Alex kept chasing Katie. I ducked down before he could push cold water at me and the laughing stopped. I turned to see Nick's expression and he threw another sponge but instead of hitting me it hit Alex as he was chasing Katie. Alex just looked at all of us and they all had the same look. We all started throwing stuff at each other. I screamed and died laughing when Cameron hit me with water then he set down the hose and clamped his stomach to laugh. Alex smothered me with soap and Nick washed it off with a bucket of water. I gasped and I realized they were also covered in soap. I quickly took the hose before Cameron did and sprayed all of them with water. Katie started barking with delight and I took her and put her in the tub. She started whimpering but I kept showering her with soap.

  " Cameron can you give me the hose?" I asked him. Again I got sprayed with water in my face and I looked at him with a glare and he couldn't help but laugh. I showered Katie and sprayed Cameron in the face with water while I was at it. and laughed. After we were all dry we went inside and fooled around a little bit. After that my parents came home and I introduced them to Nick and Alex. My parents happily. My dad brought in pizza and we all sat together talking. It's been so long since we've had people eat with us. After that Nick and Alex went home and again my parents insisted that Cameron stay with us but I just ignored them and walked with him to his house.
