Shawn's POV

Chapter 5

I took Angie's hand and walked out the door. We were walking out of the elevator when I run into Hayes.😤

I knew he liked Angie the way he look at her, but she's mine... only mine! "oh hey guys where you going?" Hayes asked. Angie instantly answered "Shawn's taking me on a early birthday dinner date!" Her smile was so bright like she was happy and wanted hayes to know we were going on a date. I didn't mind one bit!

*ding*

The elevator door opened "yell have a nice birthday date beautiful!" Hayes smiled and gave Angie a kiss on the check and left! I rolled my eyes when he was out of sight. "stop worrying Shawn it's just me and you tonight kay!

She smiled and gave me a light passionate kiss in the cheek "only you get that!" we were almost out of the hotel and Angie stopped dead in her tracks. she pushed me over in a corner and shushed me. "Taylor's coming quiet!" after he walked past I asked "do your parents not allow you to date?"

She was looking at the ground as she was searching for an answer. "its just ever sense 2 nights ago he's been a little over protective!" she looked like she was about to cry when a tear escaped her eyes. "Angie are you ok... do you wanna talk about it?" I asked. "not here let's go to the beach." she said and took my hand.

We stood in the middle of the beach and I started "feeling better now?"I asked concerned. she nodded and said "we'll 2 nights ago.... Taylor and I's dad left and our mom hasn't really been around. Taylor is all I have left and I'm all he has left. I just think sometimes that no one will ever care enough for me to stick around, or for Taylor! He's always been there for me and now he's just like all up in my business wanting to know my every move. I'm ok with that it's just if I want to date and not tell him the first second I want him to be okay with that." she started crying again.

I put my arms around her waist and she cried in my shoulder. "let me tell you one thing Angie is that I'm hear for you and I'm planning on sticking around where ever you go!"is all I said and I knew deep down I meant it. I liked Angie Caniff, my best friends sister!

She looked up with a smile. I took her face in my hands and wiped away the tears. "you know your beautiful!" Angie blushed and our lips crashed together. I just couldn't help myself. Her gorgeous blue eyes were sparkling and her brown beautiful hair was flowing perfectly! I never wanted to break the kiss, she had her hands on my neck playing with my hair. what felt like 5 seconds we pulled away. she smiled and says "I hope you stick around because I'd want what just happened to last forever!"

Then I heard someone scream "ANGELA CANIFF!" 'shit' I said under my breath, with angie standing there frozen with the most scared look on her face!
