"I didn't mean it like that.", Jinyoung said, still knocking on the door, asking her to open up. Suddenly Jisoo opened the door, she looked at him blankly.
"I don't care how or what you mean by that.", she said as she pushed through him to get out of the bathroom. Jinyoung followed after her to the balcony.
"I'm sorry you can't have a normal marriage with me, this is hard for me Jinyoung, and I know it is hard for you too. I'm sorry but you should've known what was coming, I can't be that wife who wakes up beside you every morning, or that wife who ties your tie in the morning before you go to work or the one you take on a normal honeymoon, I can't give you that Jinyoung, we need love in a marriage, we don't have that with each other...", she sighed as she looked at him with an apologetic look, "and I don't know if we ever will..", she said, barely audible, she turned away from him and folded her arms, sighing.
"Jisoo..I don't know how things will go for us too..I don't, but whatever it is, I hope it's good, and I don't expect you to give me all of that because I can't give you what you're supposed to have too.", he said as he looked at her with a look full of regrets. At least not now. He thought.
"It's fine.", she said with a tight smile, "Let's just forget about this, I feel like napping.", she said, "I'm sleepy.", she said.
"Yeah, me too.", Jinyoung said and they both glanced at the bed.
"I'll sleep on the couch tonight.", he said, "You sleep on the bed.", he said.
"Are you sure? We're going to be here for a week.", she pointed out.
"Yeah, I'm sure.", he said as he walked inside to get changed.
That night, Jisoo was on the bed, watching television, Jinyoung was in the bathroom, he came out a few minutes later and lied down on the couch. Jisoo looked at him and bit her lip. The bed was big enough for four people. She felt bad that he had to sleep on the couch and they were going to be here for a week.
"Jinyoung.", she called.
"What?", Jinyoung said.
"Sleep on the bed, it's big enough.", she said slowly and patted the spot next to her.
"Are you sick or something?", he asked, weirded out.
"No, I'm fine, just sleep with me.", Jisoo said but then she realised how wrong that came out, Jinyoung laughed, "Wait!!! No no, not like that, I-I mean we can share the bed.", Jisoo stumbled.
"You're sure?", he asked as he made his way towards the bed.
"Yeah, but wait.", she said as she got up from the bed and got some extra pillows from the closet. She placed the pillows in between her side of the bed and his, "This is the boundary between us, if we're gonna be sleeping on the same bed for a few nights....", Jisoo said, "On one condition though.", Jisoo added, holding up her index finger.
"What is it?", Jinyoung said.
"Don't cross this boundary.", Jisoo warned him, "And don't do anything foolish.", she said as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Me?", he scoffed, "foolish?", he asked in disbelief, "And by the way, that's two conditions.", Jinyoung shot.
"Yes, you.", Jisoo said, "And whatever, just go to sleep.", Jisoo said.
