Stevie's POV
We walk inside and I sit down in the chair. Lexi and Reggie sit on the couch. I start to get really shaking. Reggie looks at me.
"Stevie. Are you okay?"she asked. I look at her and then run off. I hear Reggie and Lexi yelling my name. I keep running. I smell Charlie's sent. I follow it to the cliff. She is sitting on the edge. She looks at me.
"You can sit."she said softly. I smile and sit next to her. She smiles at me. I smile back.
"I'm sorry if my sister came off a little mean, we fought for so long to get the land we have."I said looking at her. She looks at me.
"I understand our land in Lexington was taken over and we tried so hard to get it back but I almost died so we ran away."she said looking back at the water.
"I'm Stevie."I said as she looks at me. She smiles.
"I'm Charlie."she said looking at me. I look at the water.
A few hours later.
Charlie and I have been taking for a while know. I know she is 24 and the youngest in her pack. Her sister is over protective. She doesn't have very many friends.
"So tell me about you."she said as she climbs up a tree. I follow behind her.
"I'm 25 and my only friends are my sister and her mate. My mom and dad are gone. The left me and Reggie alone when I was 16 and I havent seen them scene."I said she looks at me with a smile.
"Tell me your real age."she said softly. I roll my eyes. She laughs softly.
"I'm a 11,000 years old."I said softly. I watch as her eyes widen. She climbs higher in the tree.
"The view is beautiful."she said softly. I smile and nod my head.
"Have you guys found a place to stay?"I ask her. She smiles. 'God her smile is beautiful.' I think to myself.
"Yeah a house right off of Hills Road."she said looking at me.
"That was the Nooks house. They left town because the youngest killed someone. She sucked the person dry."I said. She sighs. We sit and look at they view. We jump at the sound of a stick breaking. We jump out of the tree. Its just Reggie and Lexi.
"Stevie you can't run away like that."Reggie said looking at me then Charlie. I nod my head.
"I'm sorry."I said as Reggie looks at me.
"Let's go home."she said before they walk away.
"I'll see you later."I said before she hugged me I hug her back she slips a card with her number on it in my pocket. I smile as I walk.
