Abandonded as a child, her mother never wanted anything to do with her. Her father beat her and treated her literally like a red-headed step-child. But with a temper as firey as her hair Annie survives everything. She has always been on the run. Only armed with her bow and arrow and a few knives she has managed to survive in forests. Her only companions were a lone wolf and a raven. Annie hunts with them and fights with her will to survive.
Then one day things start changing. She begins seeing trees talking to one another, fauns skittering through the forest, and in her dreams beasts start chasing her. People are also destroying her forest home, but will she be able to stop them?
What will happen when she meets another teen who shares her secret. The secret that could demolish the world if it is spoken...
