Annie wandered through the forest looking for game; her ears alert for a twig to snap or the soud of a deer loping through the forest. This day had started like anyother. Annie checking her traps and always preparing to make a run for it if danger reared it's unwanted head.
Little did she know that one conversation would change her entire life. Annie Holland would never be the same again. She started climbing a tree to scope out shere she could go next. Annabell had always been on the run, but she had always stuck to the forests. She felt safe there. Peaceful even; as if nothing in the world could ever harm her. Not even the monsters that chased her in her dreams.
Lately she had started seeing things, an nayd coming out of the water and once in a while she would see a dryad. At first Annie thought that she was going crazy, because of lack of human contact. Last night she had dreamt of something called the Oracle. But she couldn't exactly figure out what it was. Maybe it was a clue to who her parents were.
When she was little she vaguely remembers her mother, but only for a little while... As far as she knew she had lived her whole life in the forest. Annabell dreamed that the forest would be her forever home, but little did she know changes would be coming ahead. And they were sooner than she thought.
Annie heard a twig snap and she heard voices wafting through the trees, so she scrambled up the tree like a squirrel. Annabell got her bow and arrow ready in case she needed to defend herself. What she saw almost blinded her, that light would open a whole new world for her. And Annie would discover who she really was.
