Each time I saw Harry I knew him more and more, he doesn't have a good home life, a lot like me. Harry hates school, and he is different and funny, and nice.. No. Alice. STOP, Harry is covered in tattoos, he smokes! But he smells like fresh spear mint gum.. I let my imagination take over and I fell asleep dreaming about Harry..

As I made my way to my locker, I spotted Harry walking towards me with something in his hand.

I cocked my head.

"Here." Harry said.

He handed me a small piece of paper with numbers on it.

His number?! Why would he give me that? There still are some things I don't get about him.

After school I came inside and heard my parents spitting curse words and insults.

Sometimes, I think my mother would be better off. She seems happier when dad's gone.

I ran to my room and slammed the door.

I suddenly remembered Harry, his number!

Quickly, I pulled the paper out of my jeans pocket, and whipped my phone out.

As soon as I dialled his number it started ringing.

"Hello?" Harry's English accent sounded thick, and husky.

"Uh, hi." I was slowly regretting calling Harry.

"Ah!", I could almost hear Harry's smirk. "Alice."

"Uhm, never mind.."

"No, no, it's ok, tell me." Harry sounded intrigued.

"We need to talk."

"Hm?"

"Just meet me at school street, on the corner where that huge tree is."

When Harry came down the street I saw a cigarette between his slender fingers. Puffs of smoke swam in the air every time he put it to his lips.

"So graceful" I thought.

"What do you want?" Harry questioned.

"I can't stand my parents." I leaned against the tree.

I could see Harry's green eyes lighting up, "Let me take you somewhere."

"What?" Before I knew it Harry had grabbed ahold of my hand and started running.

"HARRY!" I yelled dangling from his hand.

"Oh," Harry stopped running, "haha. Sorry." He let go. "Follow me."

The mysterious curly haired boy led me to a green house on a totally different street, one of course I didn't recognize. The house had a little car parked in the driveway.

Harry had burned out his cigarette on the ground, and yes this tall boy bent down.

Harry walked over to the passenger's seat and opened the door for me, "Let's go for a ride."

"Where are we gonna go?" I felt like I asked this question before.

"Anywhere." Harry replied.

I crouched down and entered the car.

We drove around for hours and hours, it was pitch black outside. I figured it was time to go home.

"Ok Harry, I think I should head home now."

Harry seemed a bit worried..
