As the clouds turned grey, and the houses still burning, making clouds of smoke bigger than the houses themself. The sound of silence was turning more and more quiet, as the fire went out and turned the houses almost fully into ash.
"C'mon," said Flint, " There is no survivors, I'm sure of it."
" I don't care Flint, I want to know, did KNACK labs get before us?" Gain said.
The two boys were behind a hill, using rusty binoculars that would have been popular back in the 80's.
"Aha!" Gain said.
Through the binoculars he found a army vehicle, driving away from the scene. As soon as they saw it, they ran down the hill into a worn out vehicle and chased the vehicle in front.
