Chapter 14: Taela is back!

Jaela p.o.v

"Hey Tal" I say. In return, Tal slowly waves back and says hi. We sit down outside of the funnel cake place, awkwardly I must say. "So" I say. Tal instantly looks up at me. "Emilio said that you have something to say, so please say it" I say. Tal nodded and took a deep breath before talking. He looked as if he was about to faint. "Ok, here it goes. Jaela, the reason that I didn't respond to your question as quickly as you wanted is because there's so many things that I love about you" Tal said. I wasn't all the way phased so I asked him to continue. "So what are some of those many things Tal, since there are so many" I say.

Tal p.o.v

Jaela asked me to list some of the many things I love about her. I'm not scared but I feel like she won't believe me. "Ok I'll list some. You are: Intelligent, funny, beautiful, athletic, talented, caring, hype, fashionable, joyful, lovable, and optimistic. Listen, I know you might not believe me b-" I was cut off by Jaela's soft smooth lips touching mine once again. I've kissed other girls, but Jaela's lips just felt like home to mine. "I forgive you Tal, you really are someone I want to stay with. I can trust you to tell the truth and have my back when I need you most. I love you" Jaela said. "I love you too Jaela. I'm low key trying not to cry right now" I say. Jaela and I laughed as we shared our funnel cake. The power couple is back! "We could've either: Forgot everything and ran or Faced everything and raised. And we did the second one" Jaela and I smiled and enjoyed the rest of the day
