Hero's randomness

UHHH!!

   Why!?  Why can't I find a normal interesting story where the damn oc or reader insert of the book isn't fucking overpowered!  I got done looking at two stories where one the oc was so edgy that I got a box of bandages to prepare myself for all the cuts I was going to recieve if I read further.  Not only that but he was better and stronger at everything that the shows main characters were known for!!

The second one was a RWBY book where the reader insert easily beat down Pyrrha Nikos (a character who is a champion fighter and one of the strongest fighters at beacon) like it was child's play.  They were a complete nobody and they effortlessly won a match against one of the strongest fighters who had the potential to be a maiden. 

There is absolutely nothing that I despise more in an oc book or reader insert is an overpowered character.  I don't mind being equal to certain strong characters but when they can beat up characters that are known for being some of the strongest in the series with little effort...it ruins the story.  One reason why I will always hate Superman cause he's too over powered.

Uhhh...I think I'm gonna go lie down....got a headache from hate ranting.
