KCPC - Chapter 1 - Mansion-like Dormitory

1. MANSION-LIKE DORMITORY

(RAIRA)

It's my 1st step here in Sakurano Academy, and I'm really happy to be here. It has been one of my dreams to study in an exclusive school and live in a dormitory.

I was an orphan from Kawaguchi province. I was so blessed to passed the scholarship exam that was offered by this Academy where Cross's study. Cross is my childhood friend and best friend in that orphanage and he was adopted by the rich and one of the family owners of this academy.

"Here you go…" I said to myself as I slowly lay down my handy big bag on the floor in front of the mansion-like dormitory. This is it. I have dreamt of it just this passing night. I don't want to use my ability to see the future now, because I know in my thoughts that I will make good friends in here.

The dormitory is really like a mansion. It's clearer to see because I have my eyeglasses adjusted. The floor is made of blue and white tiles while the wall is made of marbles. The windows are made of glasses.

Before I reached this door, I have to walk in that red carpet that laid up to here from the gate.

A flowery wide garden separates the academy from this dormitory.

As Cross told me, the dormitory is divided with 2 floors. 1st floor is for dining, the kitchen, the living room and the playground. I really don't get why teenagers here needed a playground, when I didn't find a place like that in my dreams, they only have this place where there's a billiard set, play station and big flat TV with DVD set.

I can feel my knees losing its energy. I'm in panic. Nervous.

I decided to hold the door knob. I don't even know why I have to enter this mansion alone. Cross told me that he has to do something, that's why he can't be with me in this time of embarrassment, and I'm actually thinking that he would surprise me or something.

I can feel my sweats at my forehead, and my heartbeat is really odd.

As I turned the doorknob, I feel that someone had opened it for me, really?

The door opened from inside.

I almost lost myself as I look at the stranger who opened the door for me. His eyes were wondering, but it can't escape my sight of sadness in that eyes. He's eyes stares at mine for long counted seconds.

This guy is really stunning. Tall, pale but not that vampiric and handsome in every way. I feel disgusted by myself. I should be considered as a maid applying in this mansion where rich son and daughter lives. Actually, I also wonder why I haven't seen girls here in my dream. There are only 3 guys, and Cross is one of them. This guy in front of me is also invisible.

Before I could talk, a familiar voice asked him.

"Kino is she there?" he said. I want to run so fast to see him, and embrace him tightly.

"Yes, this girl with eyeglasses for geniuses that Kairo wears?" he answered looking inside, and then the image of the guy who wears eyeglasses in my dream flashes.

I didn't hear Cross answered, and then the two familiar guys approached us.

"Hi, is Cross your best friend?" the guy with eyeglasses asked me. The tall guy who opened the door walks inside.

"Err… yes" I answered politely, smirking nervously.

"Before anything else, let's go inside, Cross is waiting for you." He said, taking my bags from me. I told him that I can carry it myself, but he didn't hear me.

The other cute guy walked with me, he is shy I think, just like me.

The inside is magical, really. It looks like a mansion that I see in TV shows, it has chandeliers on the ceiling. As we walk near the living room on the left side after entering the dormitory, I can see Kino facing me, he is seating in a sofa and I can say that the guy he's talking with seating in the opposite side of sofa, he's blue hair facing me is Cross.
