Tucker and I, People were saying that we have this bromance thing going on. We’ve been friends since first grade and been doing shit together since then. “Come on Tuck, we’re late.” I said.“Nah man, I’m not going, Check this out.” Tucker pulled out rolls of cannabis from his locker. “Damn where you got those?” I flipped. “ I snuck it out from my uncle, he got loads of this. Let’s light this babies up in the rooftop, yeah?” Invited Tucker. “Can’t man, I’ll catch you up later” I smirked. “You pussy” He laughs while sliding it down his pocket.“See you later, Falcon.”

Obviously, I’m late. Everybody stared at me when as I entered the room as if I just murdered someone. I didn’t have the time to look around , so I took the possible nearest, empty chair. Before I even scan around, A man stood up in front. “Guys, guys, hush it down. I’m Mr. Hidalgo and I’m here to uh-teach you things.” He looks so clueless.

“Pair up and tell us something about your partner in front and vice versa” blurted Mr. Hidalgo. I looked around and everybody was busy pairing up. I turned to my side and I saw “The girl” she was looking at me, I froze, looking at her, admiring her, every bit of her, But I try to hide it. “You don’t have a partner right? She asked. I didn’t say anything yet I was staring at her, still. “Right?” she asked again, impatiently. “Yeah.” I muttered. She looked away and we were silent for a few minutes.

“So what’s your name?” I asked, moving my chair near hers. “Leighton.” She looked at me. “You?” she asked. “Travis, Travis Falcon.” I said. She didn’t say anything back, She looked away and blow her hair up away from her face. “You seem bored” I said. “Who wouldn’t? Jesus this is fucking lame.” She shake her head. “Just tell me something about yourself.” I said, wittingly.

She turned her head Facing me, Looking up and biting her lip, Like she was thinking hard. “My name is Leighton and I like smoking cannabis.” She broke the silence, smiling at me. I nodded and smiled back at her. “Now that’s something we have in common.” She looked at me and bit her lip. Mr. Hidalgo clapped his hands trying to get our attention.

“Okay, let’s start from that asian kid and that black guy in the back.” “Yo! this nigga is named Yuan Chi, He’s asian so he probably likes Math so if y’all need calculator, he is available for $5.” Said Kevin, everybody laughed while Yuan shake his head. “He is Kevin, He likes chicken.” Yuan dissed.  Everybody laughed louder.“Oooh burn!” A kid shouted from the back. Kevin said nothing but it’s obvious he was pissed, he had it coming. “Well, that was.. racist” Said Mr. Hidalgo.

“Next!” Leighton hurridly stood up and went in front. “This is Travis Falcon, He likes smoking cannabis.” She said, calmly. Everybody was shocked and laughing. “This is Leighton. I forgot to ask her surname. She doesn’t like getting asked much so. If you haven’t noticed, She is-“ I paused. “Breathtaking” She looked at me, no reaction at all and went back to her sit.

“That was cheesy.” Mr. Hidalgo teased. I didn’t look at her or even try talk to her, She isn’t interested and it’s obvious. The bell rang, everybody run thru the door, She picked up her bag and hang them in her shoulders. “Thanks” she said. I just smiled then she walked away. I walked through the hallway, finding the room for my next class.
