"Charlie Weasley, come back here at once!"

He laughed as he turned to face the fiesty seven year old. His smile quickly left his face as found the fiery girl glaring at him with her arms crossed. He now wished that he had never gone near the girls bowtruckles as she was very protective of them. Very protective. He looked around to see if anyone could save him from a nasty fate if he was about to encounter. Unfortunately for him, he was out of luck.

"How dare you go near them! You could have crushed them you stupid git!"

She jabbed him hard on the chest with her finger. He could feel tiny beads of sweat breaking out on his forehead. Even though he was a good five years older than her, and what seemed like five feet taller, no matter who you are you just don't make Astrid Tonks mad. Her blue eyes were starting to look like a choppy sea on a stormy night, as she stared menacingly at him, as if she was daring him to take her on. He knew this was a battle he was not going to win, and if couldn't get out of here fast, well that was the end of him.

"Do you think we should save him now?"

"Nah, this is too good to miss. It's not everyday I get to see your brother getting beaten up by a kid."

Fred, George and Tonks were watching the scene before them in a tree not too far from where Charlie was now being pinned down to the ground by Astrid. It was not a pretty sight.

"Well we did warn him not to go near her precious bowtruckles. Why would he want to anyway, they'll only come out of the wood for her anyw-"

Fred stopped mid rant as Charlie was desperately calling for mercy as Astrid continued hitting him hard and shouting all kinds of abuse at him.

"Merlin!" screeched Tonks,"Ok fun's over! We better get down to him or we'll have a funeral on ours hands."

She climbed down the tree quickly with the twins not too far behind her as they made they way over to the misfortunate Charlie.

"Astrid, lay off would you! Give the poor fella a break!"

Tonks walked up to her younger sister who had immediately backed away from Charlie and was now looking down at her feet, squirming with embarrassment the of losing her temper so easily. The twins were laughing at her sheepish looks.Tonks turned around and gave them an equally fiery look that Astrid had given Charlie earlier. That shut them up quickly.

"Astrid, what have I told you about losing control of your temper over your......creatures."

"But Tonksy, he almost broke Elvinas arm! Not to mention tha-"

"Astrid, don't tell tales but really, you need to calm down a bit OK?"

She bended down to Astrids level and looked into her disappointed eyes.

"Just go off and play with the twins for awhile. Be back for in time for dinner though or you'll have Molly on your tail. Off you go!"

Astrid grinned back at her and went running off with the twins.

"How do you live with that thing!" exclaimed Charlie as he dramaticly pretended to faint on the ground with exhaustion. Tonks just snorted at his dramatics, changing her now bright bubblegum pink hair to match his ginger one and collapsing on to the ground, mocking what he did a few moments before hand. She giggled as he proceeded to act in shock of her actions.

"Nymphad-"

"Don't call me that,"She growled, as her hair changed into a dark red that resembled the embers of a fire. Tonks was an easy going person until you mentioned her real name. If you did, then you got a very angry person on your hands.

"Merlin! Calm down would you! It was only a joke!"

She glared at him for a few more moments before turning her back to him.

"So that's how you put up with her. You're just as bad yourself!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"No way am I like that!"

"You are so like her. Actually, your worse!"

She turned around again wearing a hurt expression, before the pair of them burst into a pile of giggles.

"She's not that bad really. She just loves her animals. She gets a bit overprotective about them."

"A bit!"

The pair of them chuckled before as they settled down comfortably on the grass, watching the clouds go by. They were on their summer holidays after just completing their first year at Hogwarts. They had met on their first on the train that had brought them to Hogwarts. Even though they got sorted into different houses, they had remained the best of friends.

Tonks and her younger sister, Astrid, had been invited by the Weasleys to stay at the Burrow for a few weeks. It was now nearing the end of July and the weather was surprisingly warm for England. They were very grateful for that as neither one of them wanted to be cooped up with a moaning Percy, or Astrid and the twins playing pranks on everybody. Tonks had lost track on how many dungbombs had gone off in her room this week.

The friends were happy enough to just lie in each others company peacefully with just the odd scream coming in the direction of Astrid and the twins or the occasional gnome giving them a kick. After a few more minutes of just basking in the heat of the sun, Charlie concluded,

"It's a dragon your sister should have been."
