"Watch this!"Astrid took out a packet of muggle cards out of her pocket that her muggle grandfather on her dads side had given her. He said this was more his 'magic' than Astrids dad and mums.
She sat down under a huge oak beside the Weasley's house. The twins were looking oddly at her as she began to shuffle the pack. She turned to Fred,
"Pick a card."
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
He picked his card from the pack and placed it in the middle, she proceeded with the trick.
"Was this your card?"
"Yah, it was! That's wicked!"
Astrid giggled at their shocked faces as they were beginning to look like fish now, with their mouths opening and closing. She smirked at the mental image that entered her tiny head.
"Goldfish head,"She thought,"Twin goldfish heads!"
She lay back happily on the grass at the back of the Weasley's garden. She was enjoying the twins company as they had spent most of their time pulling pranks on everyone. She knew the twins would like this type of magic as they would not have seen it before, despite their muggle obsessed dad. She groaned inwardly as she knew they would be asking her to do all sorts of them for the next week. Still, if it involved playing a few pranks in return, she was all for it. Her thoughts were interrupted as George lay down beside her on the grass.
"Where's dung brain number 2 gone?"
"Hey that's not very nice! But still, that makes me dung brain number 1!"
"Oh you can say that again," She murmured underneath her breath.
Fortunately for her, George never heard her. He began look around to see where exactly Fred had gone.
"I actually have no idea where he is."
"Oh this is great," she replied sarcastically,"We should have put one of those muggle dog collars on him, the ones that your dad keeps going on about."
George let out a small chuckle, as he proceeded to stand up and walk around for a bit, trying hunt down his twin. Astrid joined in on the search.
She gave up around twenty minutes later as she had searched the entire area. She and George had gone separate ways a while ago and she hadn't seen him since. She leant against the big oak where they had all originally been and closed her eyes for a few moments while trying to figure out where the two twits were.
"Boo!!!"
"AGH! FRED.......AND GEORGE!!!!!!
She looked up to see them both laughing. She gave them one of her famous cold glares before joining in on the laughter too.
"How did you guys even get up there? That trees like 50 meters high!"
"It's not really,"grinned Fred," It's just you're small."
"Hey!"
It was true though. She was small compare to the average child her age. She had golden hair the colour of straw, and big, sea coloured eyes with a spark of amber which many people thought it looked like fire. Her skin was lightly tanned and covered in a blizzard of freckles due to the unbelievably hot weather.
