Chapter 1

HEAVEN-The day of The Fall

"Lucifer." Alexandra whispered into his ear. He abruptly turned around. He smiled and buried his face in to her dark, dark brown hair.

"Yes, my love?" he murmured against her neck.

"Your twin tells me of the plans you have to defy our Lord, our Creator, our Father." He flinched as though she slapped him. As if she could ever harm him. "Is it true? Are you planning to sin?" He hesitated, pursing his lips trying to find the right words.

"Alexandra, I no longer believe this is right. I believe that this life I'm living is a lie. I don't think this is fair. It's as if He is preventing us all from having free will. I want to give others a chance have a chance to decide what they are, not what He wants them to be.

But, I am not doing this for others. I am doing this for me...for you...for us. For us to have a chance at being together without it being what He considers a sin.

Lilith was right in trying to have her own mind. To defy her husband, and actually be her own person. It was wrong what He and the other archangels made her punishment be. But, I am ready for whatever punishment He has for me. I do not care as long as your mine."

Her face went from a look of love, to a complete face of terror. "You cannot do this! Have you not thought of Sarah, Camren, everybody if you do this?

How can you say this of the God who created you and everything that is holy? How can you sit here with the face of a man who thinks his doing is right? It is wrong. Most of all, how can you do this to me?"

"I have been thinking of nothing but you. Have you not heard a word I have breathed from my mouth? I am doing this for you. As for the others, they will live. They will move on. My heart will grieve for my twin brother everyday."

"Lucifer." she breathed, yet again.

"Shhhhh. It does not matter. It is just a trivial obstacle in our love. It may hurt when we are punished, but we will triumph in later years. I love you and I will always love you." he said looking at her with love.

Oh no, she thought I cannot do this. He will not be able to bear this. "Honey," He looked up, surprised she called him that. She only said that when she had horrible news to bring. "I love you also. But, I cannot do this with you. I love Him. I love you too, but...I-I."

"What are you saying? That you will not fall with me? That you will not be my lover anymore?" There was pain in his eyes. Oh, how she hated to see him in pain.

He was His favorite. Even though God said He had no favorites, that He loved all his creations, the other angels could clearly see that he was. That was not a problem though. Lucifer was everyone's favorite. The light that he had upon his face clearly said that his name was right in it's meaning.

"That is not what I am saying! All I am trying to do is-"

He interrupted her. A strange emotion played in his black, depth less eyes. He almost looked infuriated. That could not be true. He had never showed anger.

"Your trying to stop me is that it? Well, that is too late. I have made up my mind. Will you join me or not?" That was anger on his face, in his eyes. It was heard in his voice.

This was tearing her apart. Choose her love or her Lord? A wind suddenly blew through their hair. It was like God was whispering in her ear. The choice suddenly became clear.

"No, Lucifer. I will not join you." Alexandra stood up. "Goodbye." She touched his face. "You know why I had to do this. I love you." Lucifer still had the face of anger. But when she touched him, he softened. She thought he would say something rude, but instead he stood.
