Seven Detentions: IT Cast

i. Stanley Uris

Friday: First bell

"Stanley what are you doing"

A voice echoes from the front of the room, where the projector is displaying cellular respiration diagrams. Stanley Uris was bored of the subject and saw no point to it. Stanley had pulled out his book, birds of the century.

"Stanley, I asked you a question"

Stan looks up, flustered, at his biology teacher who motions for stan to answer his question.

"Uhhh reading?"

"Why are you reading during my class"

"I already knew this and I was bored"

"Stanley Uris get up here this instant" the teacher saying threateningly, and as stan walks to the front he hands him a orange slip of paper.
the paper reads:
"Detention notice
Stanley Uris 3-5 Friday
cause: Disrespect"

"I wasn't being disrespectful Sir" Stan says confused as to how he is receiving a detention over such a simple matter.
The biology teacher grabs the paper from Stans hands, rips it and writes a new one.
The new orange slip reads:
"Detention notice
Stanley Uris 7am-3pm Saturday
Cause: Disrespect"

"Maybe now you'll stop reading in my class and pay attention, hm?"

"Yes sir" Stan says as he walks back toward his seat, stuffing the detention note in his shorts.
