Too Close

Kabanata 4

"Sis, are you okay?"narinig kong sabi ni Tori habang binubuksan ko ang aking mga mata

"Bakit mo ba sinabi 'yun Juan!" sigaw ni Tori kay Juan ng galit

"Well, she looked pissed because of her crush's girlfriend, so I intended to pretend as her boyfriend instead" he replied

"'Wag mo nga akong inglisyen! Kasi wala akong maintindihan sa sinabi mo!" Sigaw ulit ni Tori

"Guys, ang ingay niyo. Natutulog 'yung tao e" bulong ko sa kanila

Naramdaman ko na lumapit si Tori sa aking mukha dahil nararamdaman ko ang kaniyang hininga.

"Ang baho ng hininga mo Tori, lumayo ka sa akin" sinabi ko at tumalikod

May narinig rin akong tawanan dahil sa sinabi ko pero hindi ko na pinansin

"Grabe ka! Nagto-toothbrush ako noh!" sigaw ni Tori

"Bahala ka na nga, matulog ka na! Happy Birthday ulet!" Sigaw ni Tori at lumabas

"Happy Birthday ate Hessa" sabi ni Jordi

Tinignan ko si Jordi at ngumiti. 

"Happy Birthday too Jords" I said and smiled. He smiled back and waved at me as goodbye. Then he left

"It's pretty late, matutulog na rin ako. Happy Birthday Hessa." Javi smiled at me and looked at Juan. "Juan" he said and Juan nodded and Javi left a afterwards.

"Ikaw Juan. Di ka pa ba matutulog? Gabi na" I said

"I'm staying" he said.

Nagulat ako kasi sabi ni papa bawal daw ako matulog nang may lalaki sa kwarto ko.

"No" I replied "You can't" I shook my head

"I have to. The guy you like was trying to go in your room earlier." he replied.

"Who? Si Jonas? He's just very close to me" I said and smiled

"Sure... 'Close' lang kayo. You were shouting earlier kasi kasama niya girlfriend niya. You were very, very, very, very angry and pissed"

I just rolled my eyes and turned around

"Just lock the door. I can't sleep with a guy inside my room" I said then closed my eyes

I didn't hear a door opening and closing then I turned around

I saw Juan on the couch sleeping. I stood up and walked papunta sa couch at pinat 'yung kaniyang braso ng malumanay. 

"Mhmm?" sagot ni Juan habang naka sarado pa rin ang kaniyang mga mata

"Uy, bawal ka matulog dito. Please."

"I can't. Emman commanded me so" he said. Nanlaki mata ko at namula

"Bakit naman?"

"He hates that Jonas guy. And he said that the Jonas guy might go in your room while your sleeping"

Nanlaki pa 'yung aking mga mata. I mean, why would Jonas do that?

"He wouldn't. I'm sure. Now leave" I couldn't take it na. So I told him urgently.

He opened his eyes and looked at me.

"No. Kahit anong gawin mo, hindi ako susunod" he said and closed his eyes

"And don't think about going to my room" he said while I was going outside.

How did he know? Nakakainis naman.

I sighed and continuously went outside. When I was about to go in his room, I felt someone held my shoulder and turned me around. It was Juan, he was looking at me like he was studying me.
