I am not a normal teen and I sure as hell do not live a normal life like most teenagers but why would I want to live a normal life, to me that just sounds boring. Well, I really didn't have a choice with this one. I thought that being forced into a gang and running around the city fighting other gangs sounds like a lot more fun like I had anything else to do with my life other than sitting around the house watching tv or playing video games all damn day. Hey, my name is Jewly by the way. I am 18 and I live with my mom Jen. My dad left us when I was little, and my mom had to raise me on all on her own. I have been trying to get into a good college and get a good job so I could take care of her when she gets old. I couldn't get it to her in time. Now I am here by myself in this world. I have dedicated my life to finding who killed my mother. The night that my mother was taken, was the day that my life changed. I wish my mother was here to see where I am at in life now, I wish I could hug her and tell her how much I love her.
I was about 16 before all of it started. I was in school and I was working on one of my stories for my English teacher Mr.Wilson. I loved to write for Mr.Wilson, and he enjoyed reading my stories. He always told me I had a lot of potential He asked me to write another one so he can read it to the class. I was staying after school to start working on my story a little bit more before I had to go home and do nothing because we didn't have internet at home so the only place I could get my writing done was at school. As I was writing I looked at the time and noticed that I needed to start getting home. As I pack up to head home I hear my phone go off. I look at it and my moms calling and I could tell something wasn't right." Hey, hun where are you?" My mom asks.
" I am at school working on my stories," I said
" Hun, do not come home whatever you do, do not come home." My mom's voice sounded shaky as if she was afraid of something.
" Mom what's going mom is everything alright mom," I asked worriedly
" Just please go somewhere please. I love you my beautiful daughter I wouldn't have asked for anything more" as she hung up on me.
I had a million things running through my head. Why did she want me to go somewhere else? What do I do? Was she going to be ok? Regardless, of what she told me to do I had to get home and help her. I wasn't going to leave here without her. I grabbed my bag and ran out of the school. I ran as fast as I could, as I ran up to my house the front door was wide open. I ran into the house and it was trashed I started to panic and I started yelling for my mom, "MOM!" I waited a few seconds to see if I could hear her but I didn't hear anything so I yelled again "MOM ARE YOU THERE!" I waited again but still, there was nothing. I walked into every room in the house, but the house was so trashed that it was hard to get into every room. I had to climb over and go under bookshelves, beds, tables, chairs, etc.. None of the lights worked and a picture of just me and my mom was on the floor and the broken glass from the picture frame was all over the floor. I walked slowly over there to pick up the picture and carefully removed the broken glass from the frame so it wouldn't tear the picture. I took the picture out of the picture frame then I looked at the picture and I started to cry. I was scared for my mom and I didn't know what to do. I went into my room where I grabbed my bigger bookbag and I started putting as many clothes that I could fit in it and went downstairs to grab the keys to my car that were on the countertop.I walked outside of my house and I turned back to look at my house that I have lived in for all of my life was gone and everything valuable is gone. Then I just remembered about the safe we have in the shed. I ran out to the backyard where the shed was. I opened it and everything in the shed was untouched. I went up to the safe and opened the safe. The valuable Egypt diamond was still there. The Egypt diamond was a diamond was in a necklace that was passed down from generation to generation. My great grandma was an explorer that went wherever she wanted to uncover the mysteries of anything that fascinated her. One of her expeditions was the Egyptian temple where she and one of her friends found a diamond, she wanted to put the diamond into a necklace but her friend wanted to put it in a museum so she could be famous. So she made her diamond into a necklace so she could give it to her grandchildren and they can pass it down and she gave her friends the other half to do with what she wanted. She made the necklace that would be passed on when the oldest daughter becomes of age which was 18 along with everything that came along with it. I grabbed the diamond because it was the most valuable thing in the safe, and I left everything else in the shed, so if anyone came back it would seem like whatever was in the shed belonged there. " Maybe the necklace is why she is gone" I was thinking to myself. I put the necklace on and swore to never take it off until I found her. I walked out of the shed and locked it behind me. I was thinking about why didn't they check the shed? What prevented them or stopped them from going in the shed. I walked around back to the front. I grabbed my bag and phone then I looked up from the ground my car and I see a man with a black jacket leaning on my car looking at me. He was tall with black pants and shoes. He was tan with hazel eyes and black hair and all he would look at me then look at the ground. I was wondering who was, and what was he is doing here and was he the man who took my mom and why was looking at me then back to the ground. I stood there thinking to myself who he was and if I have seen him before, then I saw him move, he stood up straight and started walking towards me. I grabbed my pocket knife and pointed it at him and as he was walking faster I yelled " NOT ANOTHER STEP!" but as he kept walking towards me while looking at me without saying anything my arms and body started to shake. The closer he got to me the more my body was shaking. Then before I knew it everything went black. The last thing I remembered was a man walking towards me than nothing. When I woke up I was in a hotel room, my bags were on the floor next to my bed then I looked to my left he was laying in the other bed, I got up and rubbed my the back of my head because it felt like I was hit or I hit something. I looked around to see if I had any car keys, as I was looking around I tried to be as quiet as possible so I didn't wake him up. I walked over to a table and two chairs and on the back of one chair was his jacket, I looked through the pockets and found my car keys. "Why did he take me and my car?" I said to myself quietly. I turned around and I see him sitting on the edge of his bed with his shirt off looking right at me. His body was nicely framed on him, he had a six-pack, he didn't look to muscle but he had muscles. We both just kinda looked at each other for a few seconds. When I looked into his eyes I could see that he has been through a lot, he looked at me like he didn't have a soul. His gaze moved from me to the ground then he stood up. I backed up slowly and fell into the chair.
"I am not here to hurt you," he said in a deep but calming voice.
" Why am I here?" I asked frantically.
"Nothing is going to happen to you, but you have to stay with my boss's orders," he said
" Who is your boss?" I had to ask.
" You will know when he talks to you," he said as he was getting up to put his shirt on.
"Why does he need to talk to me? Why doesn't he come talk to me instead of getting someone to come bring me to him? Why doesn't he come see me?" I was getting frustrated, confused, and scared. He wasn't explaining to me what was going on. I went to my back pocket to grab my phone but it was gone. I started patting down on my pockets and I couldn't find my phone. I looked up at him and he had my phone in his hand.
" Why do you have my phone?" I said while crossing my arms and giving him the death stare but it didn't seem to do anything.
" I have some ground rules and you're gonna listen to them because you don't really have a choice. Rule number one you can not run away because if you do I will have to tie your legs and I will have to carry you everywhere so make this easy on both of us and just don't do it. Rule number two no calling friends, family, no social media, and no calling the cops and rule three if you have to change or use the bathroom or have lady problems just let me know and I will stop or go outside of the hotel room so you can change. Are we clear?" he said that all so fast that I completely got lost in rule two but all I did was shake my head in agreement.
" So I am a prisoner got it but if I have to go on this trip to god knows where can you at least tell me your name and give me my phone back," I said with a little tone.
" My name is Dominic," he stated while handing me my phone. "What is your name since I told you mine?" he asked.
" My name is Jewly," I said while grabbing my phone from his hands and looking to see if my mom texted me or called me but sadly I had no notifications. I was sad but I didn't say anything about it and just kept my mouth shut.
" Okay get your bags and get in the car we will leave here shortly," he said fast.
" Where are we going?" she asked.
" I am going back to headquarters, you are going to a nice hotel and you're going to stay there," he said as if he was mad and he was confused.
