Chapter 3

LAYLA'S POV

My eyes slowly fluttered open. I looked around at the room i was currently in. The events from last night became less fuzzy. Me walking in the street and giving my blood willingly to a vampire. I wasn't trying to die just help him. He looked in need of blood and i'm full of it. I really need to pee(random yes but i really need to go:D) I looked around the room and saw 3 doors.

1.Restroom(my destination)

2. Closet

3.Way out of the room.

Now i just need to see which is which. I tried the door on my left. Nope, closet. Then the one on the right...BINGO!!! I walking in and locked the door.

KYLE'S POV

"Kyle how could you?" My mother yelled at me.

"Mother i know i can't expose us but this girl...mother she gave me her blood WILLINGLY! Her eyes are just...dead. There is no light in them, like she has nothing to live for anymore. I just had to see what was wrong with her." My mom looked at my father who was pissed when i told them. They seemed to be having a silent conversation. My father nodded and my mother turned towards me.

"Alright son you may keep her but she is YOUR responsibility!" I nodded. I almost laughed at how my mother talked about the human, like she was my pet. I made my way to the kitchen figuring she would be hungry when she woke up. After i got a sandwich for her i made my way to my room where i left her to sleep. As i opened the door i heard the toilet flush. The door opened and she stepped out. She walked straight to the bed as if i wasn't even there. I walked towards her and handed her the sandwich. Once she saw i was there she just stared at it.

"Eat it." I told her. She looked up at me and handed it back.

"I'm not hungry." Her voice was beautiful but dead. It was timid and angelic but you could hear something was wrong. Like her eyes her voice was empty.

"You must be hungry. When was the last time you ate?" She responded again with that empty voice.

"Three days." She expected me to believe she wasn't hungry? She hasn't eaten in 3 days!

"Just eat it...please." I looked into her empty aqua eyes and pleaded with my green ones. After about 1 minute she took the sandwich and started nibbling on it.
