Chapter 1

I ran out of the house disgusted with my family, thinking about it I ran faster anger filling my body from head to toe.
I stopped myself unknown to my surroundings I looked left then right, still not recognizing where I was at. I started to freak out... my body quickly being overcome with anxiety, and my anger vanishing. Where am I? You're so stupid Alex! You should have just stayed home! This is why no one likes me! I stopped... realizing I was being a bully to myself I took a deep breath and tried to handle this like an adult, even though I was merely 16. I sat down not caring about getting my cloths dirty I ran my fingers through my hair and closing my eyes trying to think. "Okay" I muttered to myself, Where did I turn at? I took a right down to the end of the street... NO! Uhm I went to the end and took a right to the pathway leading to the park? Ugh! I screamed at the top of my lungs, feeling angry with myself for not remembering. "FUCK" I slammed my hand on the ground regretting that instantly, I pulled my hand up to see blood slowly coming out from my palm. I wiped the blood on my pants and quickly got up, doing that I fell getting dizzy. I got up too fast... alright take it slow... I thought it's okay. I brushed myself off and stood up slowly regaining my posture. Then I felt a shake in the ground, I let out a small yelp scared thinking that it's an earthquake. I tried to think of what we did back in school for earthquake drills, there are no desks in the middle of nowhere. I looked around seeing if there was anything sturdy enough to cover my whole body I took a couple steps checking everywhere. NOT EVEN A BENCH OR TABLE! How am I supposed to not get hurt?! Then I just noticed that I haven't felt the ground shake so... There's no earthquake then, right? I looked up noticing geese flying up above, hearing their calls to each other calmed me down studying there formation.

Then all of a sudden the ground beneath me shook causing me to fall on some rocks "Ow" I whimpered. I tired to get up but a bolt of pain ran through my body sending my body back to the ground. "Oww" I exclaimed so I just laid there helplessly knowing there's no way someone will find me. I sighed, feeling helpless was the worst feeling for me, Not being able to do something yourself, having to ask someone to do something and not wanting to bother them. I looked up at the sky, noticing a small part of the sky, dark blue, I rubbed my eyes. Looking up again seeing this time the object hurdling at me I quickly rolled under a tree and curled up trying to protect myself. I quickly glanced up at the sky not seeing the strange blue light, I breathed out with relief I placed my hand on my chest feeling my heart beat, literally jumping out of my chest.  I rolled out from underneath the tree to be quickly met with the strange light again this time I didn't have time to move...
