Chapter Five

I followed him into the alleyway.

"Such a terrible mistake following me beautiful." He grabbed my by my hair from behind and pulled it back, exposing my neck.

"Yes, a terrible mistake for letting me follow you." I kept my voice firm. "Because the only person dying tonight would be you."

"Are you sure about that?" His lips travelled down my neck and I nearly vomited in my mouth.

"Yah!" Someone yelled distracting the male giving me time to open my purse and draw my knife, I turned just enough and caught the vampires cheek. His eyes turning a blood red.

"You've done it now little girl!" He yelled and gripped my wrist with the dagger in.

Well sucks for you, I'm not left handed.

I grabbed the stake in my right hand discreetly and shook free of his grip on my left hand before using the knife to cut into his wrist, he let go of my hair cursing. Before he even had time to react to anything else and as seven males entered my peripheral vision, I lunged forwards and planted the stake in his heart. In a quick flail to do damage his nails grew as his arms waved around.

He caught my upper arm.

I watched as he slowly greyed under the stake and to finish him off completely I snapped his neck.

He turned to dust beneath me and I stood up, brushing myself off and grabbing the stake from the floor. I wiped it off on one of his pieces of clothing and put it back into its holder on my thigh.

"You're bleeding." A voice made me jump slightly. I turned and saw the seven males. His cold hands held my arm.

"You're willing to come near me after you've just seen me kill one of your own. That's a first." I spoke quietly with a little laugh.

"You're Taeyang's, we have no doubt you could kill us. We also know you're not a normal hunter."

"How do you know?" I looked over at the male looking at my arm. Had they talked to them-

"A year back, they told us to find you." Someone else spoke.

"Taeyang's or not I don't really want to linger here much longer." Another grumbled.

"You've spoke to them?" My eyes widened, flinching when he pressed against the wound.

"Yeah, they're doing well." He smiled softly. "They said they've seen what you've done for yourself, they're proud. The way you're continuing now they don't doubt you'll bring everything back to normal once and for all."

"What do you mean, me?"

"Daesung, he's clairvoyant. He saw all this happening, and he sees you making the world right once more." He paused. "I don't think the rest of them trust you enough yet, but my name is Jin."

"I'm Ji An." I bowed my head.

"Yah! Get them!" I heard a voice and I lifted my head.

"Run." I spoke hurriedly to the vampires. "Keep in the shadows and run."

"Are you an idiot they'll kill you! All you have is that tiny knife-"

"Run unless you want to be killed!" I yelled at them and their eyes widened as I reached under my dress again and pulled out a hand pistol.

Thankfully as long as they attack me first, I can kill hunters too.

"Vampire sympathiser." The leader spat. "Move or we'll kill you."

"Try it." I took the safety off the gun. "I dare you."
