"So? You gonna ask him?" Jeong HaeJi asked cheekily, as she quickly went back to sipping her milkshake,her eyes still focused on mine. I sighed, one hand on the straw of my milkshake and the other holding two pink rectangular tickets.

"No." I whispered as I pushed the tickets on the table towards her again.

"Thanks but no thanks Hea Ji-Ya,dances aren't my thing and besides, I don't have the guts to ask him.I mean he probably doesn't even notice me that much." I mumbled as I looked at my milkshake again and sipped lazy small sips, depressed about the fact that valentines day was close, and as usual, my bestie and sweetheart friend Jeong Hae Ji would be trying to pair me up with my life long crush, Han Sang Hyuk.

"Aish You really have to step up one of these days Y/N!" she whined like a spoilt child pouting her lips and crossing her arms, her eyebrows forrowed.

I could only scoff at her playful acting. She did it to cheer me up and I would easily snap out of my sad moods then. But I couldn't today. My mind was lost in the thoughts of Hyuk as always, he was so handsome and so nice. A gentleman. A very sweet and kind person, but I was always too silent to tell him I liked him. Thinking of him made me smile but not this time, for I couldn't help but think about that other girl I saw that day. She came to the office and hugged him, he laughed and the both of them walked out of the office. He seemed so happy to see her. And she was equally delighted.

I sighed once more.

" Okay I gotta go." I broke out of my thoughts as Jeong Hae Ji stood up with her coat.

"If I were you, I would have asked him ages ago. Imagine how much you could have developed your relationship if you had asked him when you first met him?"

I sighed with annoyance and rolled my eyes at her. She told me that all the time.

"Well I haven't and we aren't together" I grumbled looking out the window, my moods were always taking over my happiness for the simplest things. I was mad at JeongHae Ji even though she did nothing wrong.

She sensed my mood swing and put the chair back in, wearing her jacket. She leaned closer to me, her words hit me softly as she whispered,

"Maybe now you'll take a chance"

she placed a coaster over the two pink tickets and walked out of the cafe.

My gaze fell upon her figure as she walked out. She was right,hiding won't do me any help. But then even if I did tell Hyuk what I felt about him, would he feel the same? Has he already opened his heart to another girl? Maybe it was too late.

I looked at the clock. It's just been 2 hours since lunch and I'm already sleepy. My eyes lit up as I saw Hyuk walk pass me with a file. It when I first came to this job I met Hyuk. And it was since then I've been having a crush on him. We were friends, talked from time to time but not always. My thoughts immediately ran to the tickets Jeong Hae Ji gave me at lunch. Her date was taking her and she had two extra tickets to give to any of her friends. She came to me with them today thinking that I would ask Hyuk. I looked at my bag which was on my table. I had the tickets with me. I couldn't bear to leave them at the cafe. One side of me badly wanted to ask him but then there was the other side of me who's just like "What about that other girl? Your too late."
