It's been six months since Hye Sung was left in a coma, and time seemed to fly so swiftly. As usual, her friends would have their busy schedules, but they somehow found some time to visit her in the hospital. They even had their Christmas party in her room. They wanted to spend it with her, but she still wasn't responding to anyone who would talk to her.

Some of them would leave flowers whenever they come, which they replace whenever they return. They also left a couple of get well soon cards. With the large number of them, they would need two vases for the flowers, and a separate desk was put for the cards.

There were three stacks of untouched cards on the desk, and the flowers started to wilt. The others were so busy with their career that they didn't find the time to pay a visit.

It's very silent in her room, only the sound of the beeping machines, the clock, or the door opening and closing could be heard.

That was until the day that Hye Sung would wait for. Her birthday.

On that day, the room was flooded with people, they had even more cards now, they even had cake. It was getting late at night and the others started leaving, and only Luhan, Sehun, Sooyoung, and Sunny were left to stay.

"We'll get some coffee." Sooyoung said and left to get the drinks with Sunny.

"Hyung, I'll be at the restroom." Sehun told Luhan and left the two alone.

Luhan was just watching Hye Sung, he just couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Hye Sung-ah, it's your birthday. You should at least wake up." He said and shook her a bit. "Great, I'm going crazy, talking to a comatose patient."

"We're back." Sooyoung said and handed Luhan a cup of coffee.

"Thanks." He gladly accepted the coffee. He really needed it, to warm up his throat.

After a few minutes of talking, the two girls decided to leave the hospital. Moments later, Sehun entered and told Luhan that they should get home.

"Just wait outside, I'll come out after a few minutes." Luhan said, and the younger male left the room. Luhan actually wanted to stay with Hye Sung until her birthday ends, which meant he would stay until midnight.

It was already time to go, so he looked at Hye Sung for one last time, and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Okay. Let's go." Luhan told Sehun and they left the hospital.

She didn't wake up today, not at all.

*

The days went on, and the guys were working as hard as ever, putting all their effort in their tasks.

Luhan was very sad not seeing Hye Sung watch them, which somehow affected his performance. He managed to stay strong and focus on his career, but the thought of Hye Sung still in a coma always messed up his focus.

They were practicing for their next performance when Luhan suddenly felt all dizzy and fainted.

"Luhan!"

That was all he heard, before he blacked out and fell into the darkness.

*

When he woke up, his eyes protested to open, since his eyelids were feeling heavy.

"You know you have to take a break sometimes, right?" He heard a very familiar voice, one that sounded like an angel.

"Hye Sung!" He immediately sat up and hugged her like there's no tomorrow.

"Hey, did you miss me that much?" She joked and hugged him back.

"Ya! It's not funny! You've been in a coma for more than six months and all you do is laugh it off?" He asked her, still hugging her.

"Well, I'm still alive. Wouldn't that at least make you a bit happy?"

"A bit? That made me feel VERY happy! I couldn't sleep at night just thinking about you!" Luhan told her and he finally got to control himself not to try to make Hye Sung's soul seep out of her body. "How long have I been here?"

"It's been three days." She told him, and that made him jolt up. "Hey, don't move too much!" She said and quickly lied Luhan down.

"I'm fine." He rested his hand on Hye Sung's arm.

"No you're not, now rest."

"Not until you give me a kiss." He smiled cheekily at her, making her fall into that 'spell' again.

"Fine. But promise me you'll not overwork, okay?" She told him and gave him a peck on his lips.

"Yes, ma'am." He said and quickly positioned himself. "When will I be able to go?"

"You can leave later." She quickly told him. Luhan was about to ask her another question, which she already knew. "I can go in two days."

"Okay." He quickly said and immediately fell asleep.

*

"Hyung, get up." Luhan woke up to see who it was. It's his dongsaeng, Sehun.

"Okay. Where's Hye Sung?"

"She's with the others. Look, we have to go soon, better get up and get ready." Sehun said, leaving his hyung behind.

In ten minutes, Luhan was ready to go. Before leaving, he went to check Hye Sung, and she was sitting on her bed, playing on her phone. Since the bed was facing the opposite direction of the door, she wouldn't notice if he entered. Well she would if he barged in. He quickly went behind her silently, and covered her eyes.

"What do you want this time, Luhan?" Hye Sung said and took his hands off her eyes.

"How did you know it was me?" He said and puffed his cheeks out.

"You do it every time. I guess I already have your hands registered in my sense of touch."

"So, that means you already had a part of me in you?"

"You wish." Hye Sung stuck her tongue out at Luhan, who in turn kissed her forehead.

"Aish, just teasing. You okay?" He said, brushing some of her hair off her face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. They said that I can go out tomorrow." She said, smiling at him.

"I'm looking forward to it." The male picked up his things and prepared to leave. "Times running, I have to go. Will you be fine on your own?"

"Ne, the nurses come and check every two hours anyway. It gets annoying sometimes." She said, continuing the game she was playing.

"You sure have grown a lot." He said and hugged her. As he was going to leave, Hye Sung spoke.

"Together forever."

Luhan just looked back at her and smiled, leaving the room. Little did he realize, there was something dangling on his bag. A keychain shaped like a half-heart.

"Hye Sung, you never fail to surprise me."

Well, this chapter is just part one, so the 'big thing' will be in the next part. Looking forward to it? Hope you are. :)

P.S. My parents have become strict with me using Wattpad, so I would rarely get to update. And the second part was already written, but I have to do it all over again because the app was uninstalled. Yes, I know. It hurts.
