When we arrived back home I could not help but feel completely exhausted, so as she left to see Aro, I flew up the stairs scaring Alec. I landed gently as I could, though I still caused a crack, but I merely apologised. Alec shrugged it off without a care in the world, and as I smiled weakly he gently took my stuff. "Let me you looked warn out." I smiled weakly, before following him. "You should have warned me." He chuckled weakly and when I reached my room, I rushed to my bed and face planted the bed, closing my eyes for the briefest of seconds. "So tried." He smiled weakly before walking to the door. "Good night Belle." I smiled weakly. "Good night Alec." He returned the smile and closed my door shut. I sighed before I stood up, changing into some pajamas, before I truly slipped under the covers and fell asleep.
When I awoke it was to Jane, shaking me. "Wake up Cullen!" She spat. I did as she asked by slowly slipping out of bed as Sulpicia walked in. "Jane leave us." She spoke, with no nonsense. Jane merely nodded and slipped away, leaving just the two of us in the room... "Come your presence is requested for your family turned up unexpectedly." I frowned and she placed down the Volturi necklace. "Why?" She shrugged and grabbed one of my dresses, and some underwear. "Wear the necklace." I sighed and grabbed the clothes she presented before walking into my bathroom.
I slipped on the underwear before changing into my dress and when I came out, hoping for some help, I found Sulpicia was gone and Alec sat on my bed. I smiled weakly at him, before biting my lip. "Do you mind doing me up?" He shook his head no, and I moved my hair. He took hold of them and I couldn't help but hold in an unnecessary breath. When it was done I turned to him and smiled weakly. "Thank you." He nodded and I grabbed the necklace.

I struggled to with the clasp and slowly he took hold of it; doing it for me. I thanked him once again and when I turned around Sulpicia entered. "Alec what are you doing here?" He only mumbled an apology and slipped out, just as she handed me some shoes. I slipped them on and she did my hair before we walked away.
When we walked I bit my lip, causing Sulpicia to stop me. "Whatever happened with them will change soon enough, but you need to stop acting nervous." I bit my lip once again. "I'm not nervous." She rolled her eyes and straightened my posture before tilting my chin a little. "Your a terrible liar, unless your telling the truth about meeting them but not someone else." I bowed my head. "That's not the reason." She giggled and we continued once more.
When we entered they all looked at me but my eyes drifted to Alec. He looked away and I did the same walking to stand besides Sulpicia. "Now that Belle is here you may tell us why you are here." Aro spoke. "It's better to show you." Alice spoke. Sulpicia grabbed my hand as Aro stood walking towards her. "So Alec has found is blood singer Belle." I bit my lip but he continued nevertheless. "I do not see the problem." "The problem is that Belle is my daughter!" Bella snapped. "Bullshit." I spoke. "You don't care you never have so why your here I do not know." "That is not true and you know it that is why we came to get you." I drew away from Sulpicia and walked forwards. "I'm staying." She clenched her jaw. "Come with us." She repeated. "No." Edward grabbed my wrist and tried dragging me away but I snatched my wrist away. "I am not leaving, for you cannot just see that Alec Is my mate and demand I come back, especially as they've been nothing but kind." I spoke. My father lifted me up and I struggled against him. "Get off me and learn the answer is no!" I snapped grinding my teeth together. "You are my daughter and your coming home!" I struggled against his grip, and when his grip left bruises Alec gently pulled me out of his grip. "Leave!" They did not and he pulled me behind him before his hands began to smoke. Carlisle pulled Edward away and slowly they left.
When they had gone the smoke disappeared and he turned to me. The bruises slowly healed and when his gaze reached mine, he disappeared. I followed and found him in the secret garden.
I followed him into the woods picking up my dress as I went but before I knew it I was on his back and he was running up the cloud banking.
When we reached a field he placed me down and I nervously fiddled with the necklace.

"Alec?" He spun on his heel to me, but the look he gave me scared me. "You don't get it do you?!" I frowned. "What do you mean?" He sneered and continued walking. "Alec just tell me!" I snapped. He slowed and shoved me up against a tree. "You really are as pathetic as your sister!" "What's that suppose to mean? I have done nothing to make you hate me!" He shook his head. "You know what I don't hate you, it's the fact that your family is not to be trusted!" I frowned. "Then things before..?" He sighed. "I was angry at your family and took it out on you, I'm sorry." I nodded. "Apology accepted, but I'm still confused, do you hate them because they don't trust you?" Alec said nothing and I frowned, slowly stepping closer to him. He looked away but I turned him to face me. "Screw what my family think, okay I'm your blood singer and they can't change that. No one can." I spoke stroking his cheek. His hand found mine and a small smile graced his lips. "I want to believe that but no matter what they would view us as evil." I smiled weakly. "Then show them your not." I spoke. He merely sighed and drew away. "If only it was that easy..."
