"Mother!!!!" I yelled from my living room.
"Yes, darling. I'm coming!" She yelled back from Fathers office. They were currently having a conversation of who knows what.
I was waiting in my living room excited as a child opening presents on a Christmas morning while focusing on the tv.
"Yes! I'm finally going to be there in just a couple of days!!!!" I jumped on our couch just like a dog finally meeting his owner for the first time.
Hi! My name is Eun Ha! I'm currently 17 going to 18 in just a couple of months! I was born in London! My parents told me what I wanted for my birthday, and it was simple as a bat! I told them I wanted to go to SEOUL! In Korea! And go to college for a couple months. And you know just visit it. I was the type to always try new things in this world. And one of them is to go to college in Korea!
I was calling to my Mother so she can show me the ticket so it isn't a hectic crazy awesome dream!
I heard footsteps coming closer and closer. I turned around seeing my Mother hiding something behind her back, my face instantly lit up. She had a huge smile. It was a clam happy smile not like those really happy and joyous smile. A proud smile.
"So, Mother do you have it?" I exclaimed. I was trying to not let myself explode.
"Here it is!" She said excitedly while sitting beside me on the couch that could feet about dozens!
She gave me the piece of paper that can make my dream happen in a sec. That was the point when my eyes were getting heavy. Not because of tiredness but because of something I normally don't do anymore. Cry.
My Mother saw tears dropping down my cheek. Her expression changed into a "awe" expression and hugged me softly. Her hugs was always the best. "Sweetie are you happy?" She asked me softly.
"Yes, Mother. I truly am. Thank you for doing this. I really really appreciate it." I said as I cried in her arms. She patted my back gently.
"Your welcome darling. But I think I'm not the only one you should say that to." She said. We let go of the hug. I wiped my tears from my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Okay, Mom. I'll talk to Father." She was unsure by looking at her face. Whenever I call her Mom it meant I wasn't sure, and I was confused and all, or nervous. She smiled and nodded. I hugged her one more time. This time tightly as she chuckled. I stood up and walked was about to walk to my dads office when my Mother spoke.
"Sweetie don't forget this." I turned around seeing her holding up the piece of paper of dreams. I smiled brightly as she handed me the piece of paper. I took it with me, kinda like a good luck charm, when it's time to speak to Father.
I knocked on the door. "Come in." He said from the room. As I was turning the doorknob I just realized that my heart was beating as fast as a lion going for its prey. My hands were shaking. Eun Ha! You got this! I took a deep breath and turned the doorknob completely.
"Hi, Father." I smiled. He smiled back resting his hands on his table.
"Hey Darling sit down." He said. I walked and sat on a chair that was facing him from his table.
"Umm, I just wanted to Thank you." I began talking. "For agreeing to make me go to, Seoul." I stared down at the ground.
He cleared his throat and began speaking. "Well, it is what you wanted for your 18th birthday." He said without any emotions just a serious voice.
