Its the first day of grade 9 and I'm waiting at my first ever locker. I'm waiting for my friends when I see this girl from a couple days ago when we had to find our first period classes. As she got settled in I brought up the courage to say hi and make a new friend to sit with till my friends got to school. I went over and said "hi!" Little did i know that, at that moment my life was gonna become a whole lot more interesting. She said "hi!" I said "My name is sonya" she responded "I'm Shelby." I can't exactly remember what we talked about but we became fast friends. Before my friends showed up I asked her "do you have face book or Instagram?" And she responded "yea" I asked her " can I have them so we can keep in contact?" And she gave them to me on a piece of paper. When my friends got to school I told her "you got to meet my friends common" shelby followed me to my friends and I introduced her to them I said "guys this ummmmm what's ur name sorry it takes time for me to remember." Shebly responded "My name is Shelby." And I said after "this is Leda, liam, alyssah, and melissa and my friend jaiden is somewhere around here but I dont know where." My friends all said hi to shelby.

Its lunch and me and my friends got to the cafe because we didn't know if we could sit in the halls. As we're sitting we're talking and making jokes.

Its the end of the day and I'm grabbing my stuff along with everyone else. I'm closing my locker and I walk over to Alyssah and I'm talking to Alyssah and Shelby walks over to us we're talking to each other. yet again I dont remember what we were talking about because this is a year ago. Me and Alyssah say good bye to shelby and she leaves to go home and me and Alyssah go see our other friends. When me and Alyssah walk over to Leda, liam, and Melissa I ask Leda if shes walking along with liam and I dont remember what she said or what happened after.

After I get home I tell my mother how my day went and that I made a new friend named shelby and that shes in my first period class along with Alyssah. After I tell my mother I go on my phone (it was and old small phone because it was my mothers old phone) I message shelby on instagram and say "hi." She responds saying "hey" and we talked all day till night and then I said "well I got to go I have to sleep to be able to survive the next day" she said "lol ok night" I responded "lol night see u tomorrow"
