Demi had been setting out plates when Selena came home. The raven haired girl set her bags down and plopped down face first on the couch.

"Rough day?" Demi asked.

"Yup." Her voice came out muffled. She sat up and leaned over the back of the couch.

"Do you know how hard it is to get four year olds to listen to you!?" She exclaimed. "The girl who teaches baby ballet was out sick so I had to deal with the little rugrats."

"They just ran around instead of doing their stretches." She huffed out.

Demi shook her head and leaned against the counter. "Selena their little kids, they have the attention spans of  goldfish."

"So? They need to be disciplined."

"You're such a control freak. Why don't you try to level with them?" She suggested.

"I'm not good with kids you know this."

The doorbell rang making Demi forget what she was going to respond with.

"Who's that?" Selena asked.

"Pizza man." She walked over to the door and opened it. She handed the pizza delivery guy the money she owed and took the pizzas into her arms. Using her foot she closed the door and set the boxes down on the dining room table.

Selena hopped of the couch and into one of the chairs. She opened the box and pulled a slice onto her plate.

Demi took a bite out of her slice before continuing their conversation. "I'm just saying Sel, if you end up finding the one and getting married, someday you're going to need to know how to deal with kids."

Selena cocked her head to the side. She finished chewing her food and then spoke.

"Who says I'll get married? I doubt I'll find anyone willing to put up with me till I die." She snorted. Selena dropped the pizza on her plate and began to rant.

"I am not having kids either! Their sticky and needy, not to mention expensive. I'd rather have a dog."

Demi rolled her eyes and took another bite of her pizza. She liked kids and got along with them. One day she would like to have a baby when it's with the right person. That was something she had in common with Joe, their love of children and desire to be parents.

"So have you made a decision yet?" She asked. "Cause if we are going I have to let the studio know that I won't be there next week and I have to buy plane tickets."

Demi finished her slice of pizza and looked at her friend. She could see that Selena really wanted to go. Just because she was scared of seeing her ex didn't mean she didn't miss his family.

They grew up together and both brothers were always there for her when she needed them. She had a close bond with Nick and missed spending time with him.

"I want to go." Demi said.

"Really?" Her eyes lit up with excitement. "Are you sure you don't need more time to think about it? We have two more days until we have to RSVP."

"Yes. I've thought about it and I want to go. It'll be good to get away from the city for a while."

"Yay, I'm gonna go start packing and then I'll email them that we're going." She jumped up out of her seat and took her plate with her into her bedroom.

"Where are my clothes? And what happened to my room!" Selena called out.

Demi began to giggle, she rose from the chair to go help her friend.

"I took advantage of my free time and cleaned your room and did all of your laundry." She went into the laundry room and dumped all of the clothes on the bed.

"Come on I'll help you fold them and pack your suitcases."

Demi and Selena spent the rest of the night packing as much as they could into two suitcases and a carry on bag.
