alright!! thank you for sticking with me until the end! this is the first time i actually finished a book ahaha. i want to be able to write more books like this (not in the specific each chapter is a poem format, though) and complete them! this was actually a lot of fun to write because i'm sort of in the feelings of gushy and lovey lately also all the attention the hyung line has been getting recently really warms my heart omg. ):
i know this is gonna be one of my rough works, and i plan to get a lot better! i would say i'd rewrite it but i think that'd ruin it because i want to be really bad at writing and then become really good and show my development ahaha. please support me in this. (,:
for those of you who didn't understand, jeongguk wrote the poems. each poem is part of a book he created and he's a masked poet whom no one knows of. in the end, he publishes the book and he sends it off to the person he loves. for those of you who also didn't know who it was, the person he loves is yoongi. i didn't know how to make it obvious without putting his name in it. so i just used his lisp and his gummy smile and thought readers would understand.
he doesn't know if he would be rejected or not, but when he sends the book over to yoongi's way he's ready to be rejected because being a poet and someone who understands art, he knows love doesn't always work out. sometimes when people fall in love, there's a chance they fall out of love. he pours his feelings out in a book for yoongi to read and to fully understand his feelings of adoration for him.
even so, he wants to take the risk and just go all out. he wants to tell yoongi he loves him. he wants to profess it to the whole damn world because the feeling he gets just when looking at him makes him feel so damn superior and that's what i think is the most important when you're in love. it's not being inside the relationship, it's the happiness and the adrenaline thrill you get from it.
