the quest

When I wake-up the next day no one is there. So I get up and look around but nothing? I call Tempeste..voicemail. I call Christina...voicemail. Before I hang-up the phone I see a note on the table. I walk over and pick it up.

Dear Jaelin,

   I am sorry I couldn't stay. I really will miss you. promise. But I can't stay! Someone really needs me right now! I hope your not mad..are you? If you are I am sorry but I have to leave..not really have to but somewhat I want to. Anyways Tempeste and Matthew took me to the airport. If you woke up and wondered why you were alone. I hope that you aren't mad and still wanna talk..who am I kidding your probably mad. Watch put for Tyler. Remember the one you don't remember? Irony right!(lol) Well i'll be gone by the time you get this but please go to the room I was staying in..once you're in there see if I left anything? Did I? If so keep it..that means you found what I wanted you to find goodluck!

       I sit the letter down and run to her..well what was her room. When I go up there I see nothing. But I still look around. I check the bathroom, the closet her drawers, EVERYWHERE! Still nothing. I am about to leave the room when I see something sticking out from under the bed. It is another letter and a dvd. What could that be? I pop the dvd in the living room. All it say is 'BUFFERING'

So I just wait. Finally it loads! It says "On Feburary 15, 2016 to go to the mall and go into Aeropostal(my fav store) and ask for Lana, when I find her ask for the pick-up under 'Charlotte Romo' but whatever you do don't use yours or my real name! Then leave..she knows what's going on but don't say A WORD! Goodbye."

    "Goodbye" is the last thing the video says. Why? Is all I can think. I don't want to go on a stupid quest! I say outloud. Feburary 15th that is a week from now.

                  **1 hour later**

  It has been an hour and Tempeste still isn't back! Although it does take 3 hours from the airport to my apartment. So I just get something to eat and take a quick shower. By the time I get out she is here. We talk a little bit then I tell her i'm going to the mall then leave.

                     1 week later*

I get up in the middle of a dream. I look at the clock. It's five thirty. Great. I still lie awake in bed and just think. I slowly fall back asleep. Slowly not fast enough though!

    I hop up it's nine o'clock. I rinse my body off in the shower then hop out and get dressed. My phone goes off. *zzzz the alarm is named Feb. 15[aeropostale.]* I grab my purse and run down the stairs grab a(n) granola bar and then my keys. I get out of the door and leave..
