I sit in night,
Waiting for tomorrow.
I don't cry myself to sleep
But I can't help not feeling sorrow.
I've been waiting for you,
It seems like forever.
You are my heart now,
Then again you might be my never.
You give me mixed emotions,
Expect me to cry myself to sleep.
I see you in my bittersweet dreams
Just out of reach.
I wait for you to reach out,
But then you turn away.
You expect me to love you,
And then you run away.
I can't see your reasonings,
And I can't tell why.
But I know by now,
It's more than you're just shy.
