This is my first fantasy book! So go easy on the judgement please... I am still new to this genre. Sorry for any grammar or spelling errors.

Enjoy reading!

Two choices, two endings, two chances to screw your life up forever, but that's only the pessimist point of view. Some say there is another perspective, one that is better and won't make you seem like Debby downer but who cares, that opinion won't give you closure when you f*** up royally. Let's just say I am one of the only people in my "group" you could say that doesn't appreciate life to its fullest. In all honesty, I would strangle them all to death but I find that would be a waste of perfectly good energy and time. Now when I say it's better to live by a pessimistic view in my line of work, it's because I have seen things in my years, horrible things that make you want to cry. Well, make an optimistic cry and a pessimistic laugh their ass off. What I am really trying to get at is there are two choices and no matter your point of view when life goes wrong it sucks and no matter how hard you try, life isn't going to let you redo that one wrong moment. Yet every once in a blue moon you can bend that rules, but let me warn you not once but twice because when you make that choice between those two decisions. Life never lets you get away without paying a heavy price.

So you have met me and my peachy personality. Now let me introduce myself

My name is Alia Omnis

"I swear to god himself if I find another one of you hippies on my front porch I will personally go out there and kick your butt all the way to the Atlantic Ocean!" I bellowed. This would be the 5th time this week that those tree loving weirdos showed up to preach about my negativity. I stalked towards the door and swung it wide open and low and behold to my uncanny senses there was some wide-eyed dodo standing on my doorstep. He blinked at me with frightened eyes before scurrying down my walkway and down into distance screaming some kind of prayer behind his shoulder. I made a disgusted noise in the back of my throat and rolled my eyes, there was sure to be a 6th messenger this week from the big guy up top saying that I should be peppier and nice to the other residents in the area. In all reality, I don't find myself rude or arrogant just self-insured and sarcastic with wit that could cut steel.

"You really need to stop doing that Alia, someday the day the big guy up top is going to finally come back and let you have it for not being poster perfect, we have a standard to uphold and you are not meeting it," My neighbour sighed airily and waved her hand towards me disapprovingly. With her little scolding over I gave her the most perfectly executed angel smile and dropped it for a scowl.

"When I see it I will believe it but until then, he can send all the little messengers he wants to but I will just send them off running," I gestured to the little man now a speck walking in the distance shaking his head and stomping his feet rather angrily. "Now as much as I love chatting about the day's current events Lyria I do have a job to go to and I am nowhere near ready to leave without my morning hot chocolate.

Lyria looked at me weirdly through her pale colored eyes and squinted slightly before shaking her head, "I don't know why you can't just stick to ambrosia, it tastes so much better than the stuff that human friend makes for you."
