I woke up with a slight pain in my back. I started panicking as I realized my alarm never went off. I shot up, but noticed I wasnt in my bedroom.

I looked around and found myself and a thick, dark forest. My heart started racing in fear. Where am I? Did they finally decide to get rid of me? Did they leave me here to die?

I slowly stood up to my feet and started looking around to see if I could see any sort of civilization anywhere. Sadly, I couldn't see any sign of people around. I froze as I heard a deep growl from behind me.

Careful not to make any noise, I slowly turned around to face this giant, pure black wolf. I could feel my heart rate accelerating and I started to back away slowly. I felt the hot tears slide down my face as the wolf stalked towards me.

I gasped when my back collided with something hard behind me. Sliding down the tree, I closed my eyes tightly as the wolf was about three feet away from me.

I opened my eyes wide when I felt something cold and wet touch my leg. I looked down to see the wolf lying on the forest floor, with its nose against my leg.

Cautiously, I guided my hand towards the wolf in attempt to pet it. As my fingers collided with the soft silky fur of the wolf, it started... Purring...? I chuckled and started to scratch behind his ear.

He froze as he looked at me, his large, crystal blue eyes scanning my body. I was only in a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. It looked as if he was looking at all the cuts and bruises on my skin. I heard small growls come from him. As I looked into his eyes, they were changing from their crystal blue, to a dark black coal color.

My eyes widened in shock and I pulled my hand back to myself. At that motion, his eyes went back to their beautiful crystal blue orbs. He lied his head back down on the ground and rolled over onto his back. I was curious, this wolf wasnt trying to kill me... Not to mention its huge size. Then, his eyes changing color?

My head shot over to the left as I heard a stick snap. The wolf got up from its back in a flash and started growling in that direction.

I mentally sighed in relief as I saw Jake come out from behind a tree.

"Jake?" I whispered.

He was staring at the wolf in fear. I stood up and slowly made my way over to Jake. The wolf let out a low growl. I turned back to him.

"It's okay... This is my step brother..." I whispered.

It let it a huff and sat down with a thud. I smiled then turned back to Jake.

"What are you doing out here? Better question, what am I doing out here?" I asked.

"I saw Derek come out of your room last night with you in his arms. I followed him out here, but sort lost him, so I've been wandering out here hoping to find you." He explained.

Suddenly I heard a thunderous growl come from behind me and turned around, the wolf was no longer there. I had a confused look in my face, but shook it off.

"Do you know how to get back?" I asked. He looked around.

"I think, this way?" He guessed. I sighed but followed him that way.

After about an hour of walking around aimlessly, we made it back to out backyard. But something wasnt right... The back glass sliding door was shattered.

Me and Jake hurried inside the house. I accidentally cut my foot on a piece of glass that was left on the floor, it didnt bug me too much, so I didnt bother even looking st it.

Looking around, I saw Jake freeze in the doorway between the kitchen and the living space. I walked towards him, but froze when I saw two bodies on the floor.

I gasped as I felt a hand move over my mouth. Jake turned around and glared at the man who held me captive.

"Let go of her!" Jake screamed. The man chuckled. Suddenly I felt a warm substance starting to surround my foot. I glanced down to see I was standing in a small pool of blood.

My foot was pouring out blood. I guess that cut was more serious than I thought. Suddenly, I felt sleepiness wash over me. The guy picked me up and looked at me. I couldn't make out his face, I just want to fall asleep.

I heard people around me, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I could make out the people around me, but I couldn't see who was who. Suddenly, I was slowly pulled into darkness
