If you get confused what all of those big words are than I'll run it by for you.
Strength is you're overall fitness and or how tough you are.
Perception is how aware you are to you're surroundings, and ups the senses. It can also sport
you're sixth sense.
Endurance is how much physical labor you can take.
charisma effects how well you can persuade or intimidate someone, and effects well you can pass you're speech checks, and or helps you charm a animal or a human in to doing what you want etc. Charisma is one of my favorite S.P.E.C.I.A.L.'s because it can get you out of sticky situations.
Intelligence can effect the level of you're intellectual "know how", to hack terminals and build, and or construct weapons and others miscellaneous items.
Agility effects how agile you are in combat, and effects how sneaky you are or effects how good you get around the wasteland.
And finally, Luck. Luck is you're overall good fortune, it effects how many caps you get when you are looting a body of a foe, or a bag etc, and it can effect how likely you are to get a critical hit on a enemy.
You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Is you're in-game perks, you're S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is by far the most important aspect of the game.
