It was Jimin's 5th birthday. Namjin wanted to take Jimin to the huge playground so he could socialize and make friends. While they were doing that, they had Baekhyun whip up a cake for the family.

"Ohh Jiminie~ where are you~"

Jin hears a tiny giggle coming from behind the couch. He knew instantly where Jimin was hiding.

"Hmm, I wonder where Jiminie could be... could he be... HERE?"

Jin pounced behind the couch to tickle a giggling Jimin.

"Eomma! Stop! I'm gonna pee my pants!! BWAHAHHA"

"Aish this kid.. Come on! Appa is waiting outside. Let's go to the park and make friends," the mother gave his son a piggyback ride all the way to the park. It wasn't all that far away anyway.

"Go talk to some kids Jiminie. Eomma and Appa will be sitting here on the bench."

The parents watched as their son ran off into a small playhouse. From what they were seeing, he immediately got along with the other kids.

"Aww look at him, I can tell he'll get along with everyone and grow up to be a strong man!" Namjoon said with a passion.

"But Joon, what if he's an.. Omega?" Jin asked. As if the word omega were poison.

"That'd still be fine. Are you not keen of the idea of Jimin growing up to be an omega?"

"No it's not that.. it's just.."

"Will you still accept him?" Namjoon asked. Rather concerned for Jimin's future.

"Of course I will! He's our son! It's just that.. I'm worried."

"About what?"

"Well.. You know how the rules go. I'm just afraid other unwanted alphas would try to claim him while he's in heat. What if that alpha is abusive? They will be bound together forever Namjoon! I'm so scared.."

"Hey hey.. Listen, if this helps, we will watch out for whoever he's dating. We will watch for suspicious acts and all that. We will teach him how to get away from an alpha."

"I just don't want the same thing that happened to me, to him."

Namjoon embraced Jin into a warm, protective, loving hug.

"I promise that won't happen."

When they let go, they see Jimin holding hands with another boy. They watched suspiciously as the kids played together. The presence of that boy, he had an alpha aura.

When the play date was over, Jimin walked over to his parents and introduced his newly made friends and.. the boy.

"Eomma! Appa! This is Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jungkookie!" Jimin held up their hands which were intertwined.

The parents panic for a second but relaxed when they saw Jimin's eyes disappear in his smile. They've never seen him this happy. It was almost comforting.

The new group of friends run back to their playhouse to play.

The parents exchanged worries glances. That's when Jin got a call from Baekhyun.

"Hey.. the cake is ready! Just so you know, I don't think you, Namjoon, and Jimin will be able to finish this. This cake turned out to be bigger than I expected... if you have any friends, invite them over."

"Oh. Okay. Thanks again Baek! You're the best!"

"Soo.. what's up?" Namjoon asked.

"Baek is done with the cake, but it turned out the portion was bigger than expected. Should we invite Jimin's new friends?"

"That's be a great idea."

The rest of the night were party favors, cake, and kids dancing. At the end of the night, the parents all came to pick up the kids. Taehyung and Hoseok bid their goodbyes, but Jungkook stayed just a bit longer.

"Bye Jimin! I really want to see you again.. I hope our parents could schedule another play date so we could meet!"

The parents of both kids exchanged phone numbers.

"Bye Jungkookie.. I'll see you soon."

It surprised everyone when Jimin pecked Jungkook's cheek. The parents laughed it off and bid fairwell.

While the Kim family watched their son Jimin's cheeks turns rosy red.

A sign of when an omega is in love.
