Blue Eyes

"I really hate how people can party on and on and on and on and on and on and o—"

"and on. We get it Haze, shut up."

Gen, whose real name is Genevieve and is also one of my bestfriends, threw an unidentified object at me. It managed to hit me on the shoulder then bounce off and land somewhere in a pile of my dirty clothes.

"What the heck did you just throw at me?"

Like always, she replied, "your mom."

"That makes absolutely no sense. I mea—"

"Your mom makes absolutely no sense."

I punched her in the arm. And as a reaction, her arm flailed and let go of the wireless computer mouse she had in her hand.

"Dude! I wasn't done creeping!" Gen got of the bed and went to go searching for the mouse.

I took her spot in front of the laptop. She's such a idiot. A laptop has a finger pad too. I scrolled down her Facebook newsfeed, only seeing pictures of people partying. Not a single decent post. And that's exactly what I was ranting about! I just absolutely despise people who party like there's no tomorrow! And people get crazy and drunk.....and being drunk is terrible. It's like you lost all of your self control....

"Get out of the way, fat head." Genevieve jumped on me and then proceeded to push me off the bed. "I need to go creep on One Direction on Twitter."

"Ehhhhhhh," I managed to say. I had my mouth covered by carpet.

"Goooooood morning sunshines!"

I looked up from ground, only to see Bridget waltzing in wearing a yellow sundress. In my opinion, she is the most beautiful of us three. Which I dislike because she looked good in practically anything. Especially in early mornings like this.

"Hey kids, how do you feel about a party tomorrow night?"

"Uh, yeah!" Bridget yelled out enthusiastically. She plopped down on the ground next to me and pulled out her iPhone. She tapped away on its keyboard, replying to this guy she's had a thing for.

I groaned as I pulled myself up. "Do I even need to tell you my answer?"

"No, because I'm making it for you. You're going. It's Jade Kingman's party. She just asked me if we wanted to go on Facebook. And apparently she's gonna have some hot shot guests there."

Bridget and I let out a little laugh. Probably because we just got asked to be at Jade Kingman's, the most popular and richest girl in Bedford, New York, party.

"Who?" Bridget asked. "Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez?"

"Even better, Maroon 5?" I added.

We both stared at Gen for a reply. Her eyes widened. They were so wide you could the reflection of the screen. "EVEN BETTER!"

Bridget and I knew that voice. And those widening eyes. Awe shit, son.

"ONE DIRECTION!" Gen yelled out. I'm pretty sure aliens on Mars heard that.

~Later that day~

"I honestly don't want to work out today." I moaned.

All three of us wore the same outfit; blue Under Armour sports bra with matching athletic shorts.

"Too bad, you're gonna. Especially since you had 2 Big Mac's, large fries, a snack wrap and diet Dr. Pepper for lunch earlier." Bridget patted my stomach as we walked through the community gym's door.

"Honestly, Haze, I don't get how you can eat that much." Gen shook her head in disbelief. "If I ate like that, I'd be like...an elephant."

Well she's calmed down, especially after she found out who the guests were....

"Fast metabolism." I quickly said. I dove into a changing stall before they could say anything else.

'.2 miles left to go, Hazel, .2 miles left to go.' I chanted to myself. I was an hour and a half into working out, and an hour and a half into running 6 miles. I clicked the button to speed everything up, and I gave it my all. I finished just two minutes later.

When I got off the treadmill, my head spun in circles and I could feel my legs giving out. I quickly ran into the hall and plopped myself down on a bench.

I then let out a big painful yet satisfied moan. 6 miles, baby.

"Uh, are ye ok?"

I groggily turned my head to the voice. O, a person was sitting next to me. I rubbed my eyes to see him better. His piercing blue eyes caught my attention.

"Uh..." I blinked, a wave of nausea ran through me. "yeah, I'm all good."

He chuckled, "I betcha arr."

I giggled at his accent. It sounded funny. Another wave of nausea hit me, followed by a strong sense of exhaustion.

"I'm Ni—"

"Awe shit, son."

The last thing I remember was my face landing in something warm, tan-ishly white and soft.

A piercing ray of sunlight managed to pass the protection of my eyelids and into my eye. I instinctively opened my eyes, and rolled over so I could shield myself from the Sun. I groaned. My body was sore, and it hurt to move.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," I let out. It even hurt to make a sound.

"Ah! She's awake!" Genevieve let out a happy yelp. Being the idiot that she is, she jumped onto my bed and landed on me. A sharp pain shot through my body. I screamed in agony.

"Whoops!" Gen said and then giggled.

"Well, we both thought you were dead."

I gathered some strength and propped myself up on my bed. How did I get here? "What time is it, Bridge?"

She checked her iPhone quickly," 10:36 a.m."

My eyes widened. "Wasn't it just 4:30?"

"No," she took a couple strides and then sat at the foot of my bed. "You ran 6 miles because you're stupid, and ended up fainting due to overwork."

"O." was all I could say. Then my brain decided to flash back to that mysterious guy who had sat next to me. The guy with the beautiful blue eyes.

"What about that dude?"

"What dude— oh you mean Jake! He carried you to us and we drove you home."

Oh, Jake. The head trainer, and the biggest flirt, in the gym. I must've made up that guy then.

"Alright...well....." I looked distantly into my clock. 10:40.

"Dummy, get some sleep." Gen threw a heavily stuffed stuffed animal at me. "We're still going to Jade's party. There is no way in Hell that I'm going to miss that party. "

I didn't protest. The headache I had from that stuffed animal was too big and painful. I closed my eyes and slept like a baby.

(a/n: the next chapters, probably after chapter 2 and 3, will be LONGER and like....better. i promise, loves!)
