VII - The Proposal

Luna's POV

"Dad?!, when did you came back?!" I said wide-eye as I saw him lounging at the chair near our pool.

He's always on business travel that is why I haven't seen him this much. Since my mother pass away due to car accident when I am in grade school, there's always be the two of us. He still been an ever loving father after that. He needs to be strong for me eventhough he is grieving. I know he loves my mom so much. I love her too.

Since then he never left me and always takes care of me and my needs making us so close like he is my very bestfriend in the world. Well, until my junior year when he need to travel abroad for his business. At first I've been so lonely since it's always me and our house maids. I have to be mature about the situation even though I miss him much. He needs to work for us and I totally understand him. And now I am already used in this kind of situations. He's always been a good father to me. Whenever he have time he always spend it with me. Not to mention that he knew all the things that's been happening in us. I guess he hired someone to monitor me. And also the fact that we always have a video call almost everyday just to catch up. That's how close me and my father were and up to now.

"Just this morning. I wanted to surprise you and I guess did." He said as he smiled at me.

I excitedly run towards him when he then stood up opening his arms for hug. And he did give me a warm bear hug which I miss the most.

"I miss you so much dad!" I said as my voice cracked and started sobbing.

"I miss you too sprout." He murmured as he taps my back slightly.

Me and my dad are always been close since forever. I mean I am a papa's girl so I feel like I wanted to cry seeing him again. It's been so long since I last saw him. And seeing him again makes me so emotional.

"Hey sprout don't cry on me now." He chuckled still hugging me.

"But I miss you! I mean, it's been so long that I've seen you." I argued still stopping my feet like a child. I always acting like a child when I am with him.

"I am sorry my little Moon. You know, daddy needs to work right?"

"Daad! I am not a kid anymore. Don't talk to me like I am a child!" I whined as I crossed my arms pouting.

'Yeah. You are not acting so childish Luna.' My innerself mocked me.

"Of course Kierra.. But form me you are always be my little girl." He said chuckling teasing me more.

I huffed as I rolled my eyes like a sassy brat girl making him look at me amusedly. Well, I am not a little anymore. I am always like this when I am with him.

"Fine. You are a fine young lady!" He said sighing giving up which makes me smiled widely.

"And I am so proud of what you become Kierra." He added genuinely making me tear up again.

"Aw.. don't cry sprout." He hugged me again dearly.

"Dad!" I whined

He chuckled again seeing me like this.

"By the way, how your school?" He then ask as he go back sitting on his chair.

"It's fine dad. School is great!" I said trying to be very ecstatic not wanting him to know what just happened in school.

It will shock him for sure knowing that it was my first time to be in detention and to be called in the principal's office.

"Oh Really?" He said knowingly making me nervous.
