After class I headed to my locker. I noticed a lot of the girls hanging around Luke. Out eyes met for a while until I heard Adam come over over. "Hey. I'm sorry babe. I'm not able to meet you at lunch." He says. "You have something to do?" He usually doesn't have anything to do but lately he hasn't been around for lunch. "Yeah just something I have to take care of. Don't worry" he says after kissing my for head. "Ok. I love you. See you after school" "love you too. Bye" I wonder what he has to take care of. Whatever. I guess I'll see him after school since we don't have any classes together. But lucky me Luke and I do. Not the sarcasm.

Once I got into class I notice there weren't any other seats except for the one next to Luke. As I walked to the seat next to Luke I noticed the girls that were hanging around Luke before were giving me dirty looks. Then this one girl called me a slut. I then quickly sat down without looking at him. He started tapping my shoulder. "Hey. Can I borrow a pencil?" He whispers. "Here" I hand him the pencil. Then class starts.

*Skip Class*

Yay! Lunch. Finally I'm starving. As I make my way to lunch I don't see Megan around. She's usually here too. But I do see Luke come up next to me. "Hey. Wanna sit together for lunch?" I didn't have anyone else to so I guess so. "Sure. " "Okay great" as Luke and I make our way to the cafeteria I hear people. Once we make our way around the corner I see Adam kissing this blonde girl!! "Adam?!" "Um who are you?" The blonde girl asks. "Um. I'm his girlfriend." "I feel bad for him. Your so ugly. No wonder he cheated on you." I get so angry I somehow punched her. "Babe please. This isn't what it looks like!" "Ok then what the hell is going on?" "I uh..this..." Ugh. I'm so done! "I guess all these fucking years we were together meant nothing to you!!" I yell. "Kayla please!" I feel tears running down my face and just run out of school...

Luke's P.O.V.

"Kayla please!" I see tears running down her face. She then runs out the school doors. That douche. I then punch Adam several times. He just lays there in the middle of the hallway with a bloody nose. "Don't ever go near Kayla again. Got it?!" I yell. "Yes" he groans while that other slut is laying on the ground with a black eye and bloody nose as well. After dealing with Adam I run out to find Kayla.

Kayla's P.O.V.

I run out the schools door and run behind the school into the woods. I stop running and sit down on a rock. Ugh. I'm so done. I really loved Adam. I guess I'm nothing to him. I never want to talk to him again. I hear a twig crack an turn to see Luke standing there. He sits next to me wrapping his arms around me. I lay my head on his chest and wrap my arms around him too and start crying even more.

After a while I realize I still have school. I don't want to go back tho and see Adam. "You wanna go home?" Luke asks. "Yeah" I still have 2 more classes but I don't feel like going back in there.

Once I get home my mom greets me then hugs Luke. "Luke? How have you been? I haven't seen you since you moved." "Hi Mrs. Jones. I'm good." "Kayla what are you doing home early?" "Bad day at school. And I'm just tired I don't feel good." "Oh okay. Why don't you watch a movie in here? I'm gonna be gone for 2 two days. Aunt Liz isn't feeling good and I have to go take care of her." "Okay. Thanks mom." I then go pick out a movie for us to watch. "Toy story?" He asks. "Yeah how'd you know?" "That's was your favorite movie and I'm guessing still is your favorite movie." "Yeah. You remembered?" "Yep" I can't believe he remembers my favorite movie. Once I put the movie in I get popcorn. As I sit next to Luke I noticed him pat his lap for me to sit on his lap. He wraps his arms around me and then I realized. I think I may be falling for my best friend...
