My mommy sits down on the floor next to me.
“Baby, mommy has something to tell you.”
“Okay, mommy.”
“Daddy- daddy isn’t going to come home.” Mommy had tears in her eyes.
“Why not mommy? Where is daddy?” I ask her.
“Daddy isn’t coming home, because daddy is in Heaven. Do you know what that means?”
“No mommy,” I said.
“Heaven is where people who are not living anymore go,” mommy started crying. “This means daddy’s not coming home.”
