Phil cracked open the crate door and waited for the kitten to come out, he didn't want to force him out. After a few minutes the kitten padded out of the crate and almost stumbled onto the floor. Phil smiled and picked the kitten up and put him on his lap. "Want to know why I chose that name? It's cause it seems like it would suit you," Phil smiled down at him. The kitten glanced up at him with shining eyes. "That's a nice name..." The kitten mumbled. Phil's eyes widened. "D-did you just talk?" "Yeah.." The kitten responded with what appeared to be a smirk. "I can do more than that you know." Dan hopped off to the ground and transformed into a guy with a completely black outfit except for a white circle on his shirt. "Or this..." Suddenly two ears appeared on his head and a tail curled around his side. "Please don't throw me out," He frowned before sitting next to his owner on the bed. "I can't stand the shelter. I've been there for over six years," Dan panicked slightly. Phil reassured him that he wouldn't be returned. Dan's tail went up and started to wave back and forth.

Phil lead Dan to the kitchen, many questions piling up in his head. "Does that mean you don't need cat food?" "Nope" The neko laughed before smelling a familiar aroma. "Do i smell maltesers?!" His eyes widened as he jumped onto the counter. "You're wearing shoes!" Phil whined, not wanting his counter to get all dirty. "Sorry!" he turned back into a small cat and padded at the cabinet with the candy in it. "I got it, bud," Phil sighed, walking over to him and ruffled Dan's head. The kitten beamed and jumped off the cabinet door. Phil pulled open the cabinet and took a bowl and a box of maltesers from it. "Here you go!" he poured the little candies into the bowl. The cat ran over to the bowl happily and started to eat them one by one. Phil watched his adorable eating habit for a minute before heading over to the couch with his sticker-covered laptop which opened to tumblr.

Once Dan finished his last malteser, he hopped off the marble counter and ran over to Phil's lap where he curled up. "Your the most adorab-" Phil was cut off as Dan became partly human again.(human w/ ears and tail) "Sorry!" Dan cringed as he caught the laptop that had been sent sailing with his tail. "I haven't changed forms in a while so its a bit hard for me to control right now..." He  explained, looking ashamed. "Its alright, it wouldn't have been if you'd broken my laptop though," Phil joked tickling his friend. Dan managed to set the laptop down gently before the attack thanfully. "Tickle war?" Phil suggested with a smirk and Dan's eyes lit up immediately before he pounced back.

"That was fun and I obviously won~" Dan smirked at Phil who was now on the ground, bright red from laughter. "No! I won!" Phil argued. "No! Me!" The neko stuck out his tongue playfully. "Fine..." Phil gave in, slowly getting back up and sitting back onto the couch. "I think I should introduce you to the internet...Not the people there, but the websites and shows and fandoms that have taken over it!" He grinned, glad that his new cat had turned out to be someone he could introduce to his interests too.
