Everyone had always come first because
she was always taught that she needed to bottle up her emotions and that other people mattered more than her.
And shes stuck.

And she goes on and on looking happy as could be
but she's dieing inside.

and shes sorry.
And she had scars on her heart
and they matched her arms
and her legs
and her stomach
and everything else she covered up so no one would notice,
so no one will worry.
You never knew when shes gonna break down
because when she breaks down, when she loses herself,
You're asleep,

Its 2 am,
shes in a ball
shes crying her eyes out but theres nothing left to cry out.
so shes just straining her vocal chords,
Trying to scream but not making a sound
All out of tears so shes just there rocking and screaming

Those are the days she seem happiest because she died the night before,

Sometimes she crys herself to sleep
Other times shes not as tired,
not as worn out,
not lucky enough
To fall asleep,
