"Bloody Hell!" "What do you mean we're grounded?" Niall Horan yelled into his phone. His fingers were frozen from standing outside in the cold for the last 20 minutes. It was the middle of March and a freak snowstorm decided to make an appearance. He and his band had just finished playing their last show on the east coast of the US in small town he couldn't remember. He was ready to get home to L.A. and warmer weather. His Irish blood had, had enough of the cold. "I'm sorry mate, but there's nothing I can do." "My hands are tied". His tour manager Luke replied. "Fuck" Niall answered defeated "I get it". "Just get us someplace to sleep tonight."
When you work a twelve hour shift in the ER, the only thing you want to think about is going home, putting your feet up and forgetting about your day. My feet definitely hurt, but I was in a great mood despite the geriatric fall patients, numerous stomach pains and kids with ear infections that were part of my patient load today. "Have a great trip Kentley". Marie the oldest RN in my department yelled to me as I was coming out of the locker room. She had the biggest smile. I would miss her. "Im so excited" I replied. "I've never been to California. "I sure hope you'll be able to get out of here tonight." She replied. It looks pretty bad out there." I laughed. "A little snow's not going to stop me." I replied as I hugged her good bye. I made my way out the ambulance bay doors and was instantly hit with the flying snow and bitter cold. "Fuck" I thought to myself.
Ok. So here it is... my first real attempt at publishing my fan fic... I know it's short, but I had to get this out of my head... it's been in there for weeks. I'm new to all things Wattpad, so I am going to working on my skills, and getting a real cover soon. I'm a fan of so many writers on here, you've all inspired me...I thank you for that. I will post when I can... I have a busy life!!
Thank you again❤️Jen
