They say each picture holds a thousand words

To me each word holds a thousand memories

Each memory I've kept and stored inside my little diary

My sketchbook holds more memories than I could count

Holds more than I care to remember

It's my diary that only I can read

Encrypted down to the last mark

Every feeling or thought scribbled into hundreds of lines

Forming a face, a scene, a dream if mine

Each part holds a piece of me

And I've lost myself inside

Without my book I feel alone

Lost without these parts of my soul

How many broken hearts have bled across these pages?

Stained them red with thoughts from my head and painted a picture to save them

I've used this book to save me

From hurting, sadness, and cruelty

I've found my place where I can go to let go of all my feelings

It's helped me through so many things it's hard to let just one page go

Each one holds more than a million memories

More than you'd ever know
