Taken By Suprize: a Magcon Fantasy

Chapter 1

~Hannah's POV~

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I looked over and read the time, with half blurry vision. I rubbed my eyes and got a better look. 6:00 AM. It was a Friday and it was the last day of school. 

I was so excited for this summer. It was going to be the best summer ever and I was going to spend it all with my best friend Jacque. (A/N: just to clarify, its pronounced like jackie) 

 

I was way too excited for today, to be tired. I hopped out of bed and went over to my closet. I plucked my hollister shorts out of the closet and grabbed a grey crew neck. I didnt really dress to impress. I mean im not a slob, but i dress for my self, not to please others. In my opinion my fashion was cute, not slutty or slobby. 

I texted Jacque and asked her what she was wearing. 

"Ayee what are you wearing today?"

"Shorts and a tank top." 

I quickly modified my outfit to match hers. I laced up my red Converse and straightened my longish blond hair. I quickly applied some mascara to my brown eyes and i was out the door.

I walked into school with Jacque and saw Cameron Dallas and Jack Gilinsky walking infront of us. Jacque and Cameron sorta had a thing, even though they both denied it and everyone in school knew it. 

I had always had a secret crush on Jack ever since the beginning of middle school, but i haven't told anyone. Not even Jacque. I didnt want him to find out, because he was way out of my league. We had been best friends since 4th grade, but he would never like someone like me.

"Hey Cam Cam!" Jacque yelled as she motioned her hand for them to walk over. "Hey bæ!" Cameron said as he casually flung his arm around her. 

It was so obvious that he liked her. And i was so happy for her. She has liked him for a long time and we were both just waiting for the day that he would man up and ask her out. 

I could see Jacque smiling through her, new perfect teeth. She had just gotten her braces off, and she had perfectly straight teeth. 

Jacque and Cameron were walking next to me and Jack. They were engaging in an adorable conversation about who knows what, which left me and Jack awkwardly walking together. 

I didnt know what to say.. think, think, think! "Hey Jack" "How's it going Han nae nae?" Everyone in school either called me han nae nae or cactus. 🌵 yeah dont ask. One of my friends made it up in 6th grade. 

"Pretty good." I laughed. I looked into his dark brown eyes and was lost in his gayze, and looked at his perfect face. His perfect hair. His perfect everything. Jack was so perfect. 

"Hannah.. Hellooooo?" I guess i spaced out, because he had clearly asked me something. "Huh.. Oh what?" 

"I said, do you have any plans this summer?" "No, not really. How 'bout you? Oh wait, i forgot your one of the most loved teenagers by girls everywhere right now." ...and i was one of them, hehe. 

He laughed (adorably of course) "haha i just have a ton of magcon tours this summer, but i was hoping that one of my best friends in the world would join me!" "Haha who?" "You Hannah!" He made it sound like it was so obvious. Wait.. Had i just been friend zoned.. 😔

"Jack! I would LOVE to come with you this summer!!" I was dying on the inside, and i was hoping he couldnt tell. "Well, great because i couldnt imagine going without you." He smiled and rested his arm on my shoulder. I was shorter than him and he always did this to me, in the hallways. 

"See ya later!" He smiled at me, and waved as him and Cameron walked off onto their locker area. Mine and Jacques lockers were in the other hallway. Jacque skipped up to where i was walking and a extremely happy smile was plastered on her face. 

"Im in love with Cameron Dallas, and i cant hide it anymore." She giggled and exclaimed. "He invited me to go to magcon with him this summer! I am so excited!" "Yeah! Jack asked me too!! Perfect. We will spend the whole summer together, with our dream boys!!" 

I couldn't obtain my happieness and squealed out loud in the hallway. Maybe a little too loud.. "Well see ya later." Jacque said as the first period bell rang. She waved at me and we went our seperate ways. 

Even though Jack said that "he was hoping his best friend, could join him," i was determined to end up as more then just a friend by the end of the summer.
