Whether telling someone they’re special is for love, for friendship, for hatred or for guilt, or telling another that they mean a lot to you just out of a simple kind gesture to brighten their day, there’s no doubt that each held its own meaning, its own personal description of the stories and emotions held behind those few fateful words. Jacob hadn’t learnt the true meaning of any of them, but the girl in his dreams, the one who was so distant yet so close would teach him just how much words can change someone.
Writing about someone you know, isn’t because you want them to be in your story to remind yourself that they are that person you can comfortably confront each time you go to write something new, it was to re-invent them as someone who you know they could be or someone you want them to be. Jacob had much to learn before soon realizing his words were more than just simple letters put next to each other to form some sort of understanding, they were the very reason why he was who he was.
