Chapter 1: First day

Pen's POV

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"SHUT UP!"
I slam my hand on the snooze button of my alarm clock and look to the left of me and grab my blue cap. I get out of bed and go to my closet "time to get ready for my first day" I say sarcastically. Honestly I was kind of scared for my first day of high school... the only good thing I thought I would get out of it was getting to see my friends again.

My friends are Eraser,Match and Pencil... ahh Pencil.. She's so beautiful,artistic and kind to me. I guess you could say that I like her.
I know she'd never like me back, but hey it's worth a shot!

Oh that reminds me, I got to get ready for school! Quickly I grab my blue and white sweater,black pants and running shoes then run to the kitchen.

I then remembered that my mom and dad leave for work before I get out of bed. But I look on the counter and see a note from my parents.

Dear Pen,

Your father and I hope you have a great first day of school today! There is some leftover pancakes from this morning in the fridge for you. We love you and wish you the best of luck in grade 9!

"Oh yay pancakes!"
"But I'm not really that hungry this morning, whatever I'll just take some anyway because I could get hungry sometime in between classes."
I quickly put some pancakes in my school bag and I head off for school.

Pencil's POV

As I walk up towards a tree I already see Match and Eraser over there, but no Pen yet.
"Where is he?" I mumble out loud.

Anyway, as I get closer to the school I see Match and Eraser.
"Hi guys!" I shout out loud. 
"Hi pence-pence!" Match yells back.
"Sorry guys for yelling, I'm just super excited for today!"
"Hey Pencil" Eraser says. "She's been acting like this all morning."
"It's ok she's just excited" I say with a big smile across my face. "Hey Eraser have you seen Pen yet? He hasn't answered my texts."

"Well I tried calling him and sending text messages too, but he's not answering them either."Eraser said.

"Oh ok then. I hope he'll be here in time before the bell rings for first period."
"Yeah me too." Says Eraser.
And as soon as we say that I can see Pen in the distance walking over to the tree we were all standing by.

"Hey Match,Eraser and Pencil!" He shouts while waving.
"Hey!"Match and Eraser said patiently waiting for my response.
"Hey Pencil you there?"Pen then asks.
"Oh yeah! Hey Pen,sorry about that. I must've zoned out for a second. Hehe.."

I then realize that I was blushing a lot because everyone just looked at me funny.
I then quickly stopped and then looked back at my friends and tried to stop the blushing.
"Anyway the bell will ring soon so don't you guys think that we should go to our lockers now?" Eraser says.
"Ya I like agree with Eraser let's go."Match says.
"Ok" I say following behind everyone.

~Time Skip~

Pen's POV

As the 4 of us were walking to our lockers I noticed Pencil looking at me funny so I ask her why.

"Hey Pencil?"
"Oh! Yes Pen?" She says blushing.
Oh god she's blushing!
"Why were you just staring at me funny?"I ask.
I notice her face go completely red. I tap Eraser's shoulder.

"Dude, why is Pencil staring at me all funny?" I say.
"I don't know maybe she likes you dude" Eraser replies while laughing.
Then I must've zoned out because I tripped on my own feet and fell face first dropping all my books in my hand.

"Pen!" Shout Pencil and Match as they see me on the floor.
"Dude What the hell?" Says Eraser.
"Ah ouch" I say while I hold my head in my hands.
"Pen are you ok?" Says pencil as she gently takes my hand and pulls me up.
"Yeah I'm ok. Thanks pencil." I say while smiling.

"Here's your books Pen." Says Match as she hands me my books.
"Thanks Match." I say as I put them into my backpack.
"These should stay in here for now just Incase I fall again." I say laughing.

"Haha, come on guys let's get going. We need to find our lockers." Says Match.
"Hehe dude you just so happened to fall when I said you liked pencil." Says Eraser.
"Just shut the hell up Eraser. You already know." I shot back.
"Whatever dude lets just catch up to the girls."

When Eraser and I catch up to the girls, I ask them their locker numbers.
"Hey you guys,what's your locker numbers?"
"Mine is 156" Says Match.
"Mine is 179" Says Eraser.
"Mine is 135" Says Pencil.

"Woah" I say.
"What is it Pen?" Says Pencil.
"Mine is 134!" I say to her.
"Haha that's awesome!" Says Pencil with a hint of pink on her cheeks.
"Damn you two are lucky,you guys have lockers right next to each other.
Mine is all the way on the other side of the school!" Says Eraser.
"Same here." Says Match looking disappointed.
"Hey don't worry you two, we'll see each other at lunch every day, and maybe we'll be in some classes together!" Says Pencil.
"Yeah don't worry about it." I say.
"Ok" they both say. "We'll see you guys soon!"
Says Match.
"Bye! Pencil and I shout back.

"Well bye Pen,I gotta get to first period."Says Pencil.
"Wait,Pencil!" I shout.
"Yes Pen?" She Says.
"What's your first period? I'll walk with you if you'd like, I have Math."
"Pen! I do too! Isn't that cool?" She Says rubbing the back of her neck.
She almost looks nervous.
"Oh man that's cool." I say back.
"Come on! Let's go!" Says Pencil as she grabs my arm and drags me down the long hallway.

(A/N Hey guys so that's the first chapter! I hoped you liked it. It honestly didn't take me as long as I thought it would for me to make but at least I thought it turned out pretty well! Should I continue this story? Comment below if I should because I'm quite curious to know.)
