Chapter 10: keep it together Mani

Normani paced back in forth as she heavily panted. Sweat beads formed on her forehead and she fanned herself.

"Yo Mani? You good boo?"Lauren asked as she sat next to Normani. Normani shook her head looking around in Ally's room.

Ally had another party, I guess you can call her a party animal.

Normani couldn't get anything out. She felt her throat clench up and gasped for breath. Lauren fanned her trying to cool her down.

"Mani? What's wrong. Come one babe talk to me"Lauren sighed. Normani stood up pacing back in forth.

"I think I remember"Normani cried while resting her hands on the dresser and looked down. Lauren looked at her with a confused look.

"Remember what? Mani tell me what's wrong!"Lauren exclaimed standing up. "Please your getting my anxiety high"

"It was Keith"

"What was Keith. Normani your not making sense right now what w-"

Normani gulped closing her eyes.

"Yo, what we gonna do with her?"One boy asked as Normani helplessly laid on the frown crying. "Keith! Come here"

"Man! Why I gotta go first?"He asked unbuckling his pants. Normani couldn't stay awake lomgsr. She then passed out, feeling the pain shoot through her body.

She was a virgin.

"Damn is she dead?"A deep voice mumbled. "Yo let's dip, I don't want to get caught up in this shit"

The boys jogged away leaving Normani laid out on the ground. Normani body shut down, her mind and her body felt the pain, she just couldn't do nothing about it.

"Kieth was one of the guys..who raped me. You know I spent my time with this guys. He knew what he did to me! Inviting me to this stupid party. Lauren he did this too me!"Normani sobbed.

Lauren clenched up her first going towards Normani comforting her. Lauren thought of many scenarios of how she could hurt Keith. Her foot began tapping and she pulled away

"Here stay here Mani, I'll be right back"

Lauren marched downstairs looking in the crowd. She finally spotted Keith marching towards him and giving him a great big slap.

"You think you can fuck over my bestfriend and comeback all peaches and cream? You got another damn thing coming Keith."Lauren yelled kicking him.

Lauren kept kicking him. Soon everybody notice what was going on turning their attention towards them. Soon a girl who's whole body was filled with tattoos grabbed her pulling her away from him.

"Calm down"She breathed out looking at Keith he laid their groaning on the floor.

"Let me go. Let me at his ass!"Lauren yelled. She tried getting out of her grip but this girl wouldn't let her go.

"Where's Mani?"Jude asked looking around.

Lauren pointed up stairs. Jude, Ryan and Brittany rushed up their. The tattooed filled girl pulled her in the kitchen.

"Calm down please"She asked.

Lauren huffed clenching her fist sitting down in the seat. She rested her head in her hands tapping her foot repeatedly.

"I can't, I just can't"Lauren cried. Why was she emotional? This situation didn't happen to her. "Mani has been through so mug shit and for him to act like nothing happened"
