(Gerard's P.O.V.)

It was Tuesday, obviously the day after he got beaten up by Britney. He guesses she was standing up for somebody but who? That morning, Gerard arrived to school the school put up posters of the singing competition which was on Friday. He liked to listen to Queen (r.i.p. Freddy Murcury) and sometimes sang along so why not give it a try. But he needs guitarists and a drummer. Gerard took the little poster, put it in his backpack and headed for class.

Later on Gerard was talking with his friends and his brother (Mikey) about doing the competition. Frank took guitar, Ray took lead guitar and Mikey took bass guitar. But they needed a drummer, luckily Frank had a friend in his neighborhood who liked drums.

A couple hours later towards the end of the day, Gerard and the guys had the time to come up with a song to sing at the competition. All the songs the guys were coming up with were cheesy. "Guess we'll have to make one up." Gerard said with a sigh. "Yeah but you know you have to write the lyrics and everything." Frank said. Gerard had to do all the dirty work. Writing the lyrics was going to take hours and they may not finish in time. So Gerard and Mikey went home and started writing the lyrics.

(Britney's P.O.V.)

It was Wednesday and Britney saw the papers for the singing competition and immediately wanted to join right at that moment. Gerard and Mikey were walking down the hall and Gerard saw Britney take the paper. Britney walked in their direction and pushed Gerard out of the way with her shoulder. She was heading to the locker hall where everyone was. She went over to talk to her friend Juliet. "He asked me out!!" Juliet shrieked in excitement. "Who?" Britney questioned. "Isn't it obvious?" "Andy?" Britney guessed. "Yes!!!" She shrieked again. "Did Jared ask you out?" "No." "Did you ask him out?" "No." Britney look really disappointed. "He already has a girlfriend." "That's too bad. I'd suggest going out with Ronnie." Britney walked away in disappointment.
