My phone goes off when we sit down at our desks.It was my ex boyfriend Lucien.I thought I blocked his number but apparently I didn't.It read "hey baby wanna get back together" i replied with no and I have a new boyfriend who's better than you"."who's that" Avi asks looking confused."my desperate ex,but I'm staying with you pirate" I say while holding his hand.He smiles and says "romantic much" "of course" i say while rubbing his hand.Miles turns to us and says "love birds can you quiet down" "sure we can" i say sarcastically.Miles rolls their eyes and smiles.We both are silent for the rest of math and then the bell rings.I start thinking about Lucien.Not in the love way but the way he treated me while we were dating.He would never do anything for me.He put his friends first and not me.Its like he didn't care about me.I start to get sad when me and Avi are walking to PE.Avi looks at me and says "Hey what's wrong are you ok".My face is on the verge of tears."yeah I'm fine" I tell him.My face shed a few tears.Avi wrapped his hands around me and said "it's ok,you don't have to share it with me if you don't want to" "no it's fine it's about flash backs of my ex" I said to him very sad and crying."what about him was he abusive" he asks still hugging me."yeah but you would never ignore me right" I ask crying really hard and stuttering."of course not why would you ever think that captain" he says looking me straight in the face "I don't know I'm sorry I just..."
